I can say with utmost confidence I spoke my heart on what I wanted to receive and they performed an absolute masterclass. Best haircut in my life, the kind of place that leaves you wondering if you’ll ever find a barbershop as divine and perfect as this one. Words cannot describe the magic, precision, care, and finesse these men perform. I’m confident in stating they are the best barbershop in NYC, with a seal of guarantee you’ll never get a bad cut from here. Seriously the absolute best I have never felt so confident and satisfied leaving a barbershop after a hour long full treatment to everything you could imagine. The confidence radiating from me was something only these men could have given me. Forget deciding where to go take the time to walk or drive from wherever you live to experience something that as stated before cannot be described in words. The. Best. Barbershop. In NYC. $40 for a normal haircut that will leave you speechless, and a mere $80 for the full experience leaving you feeling like the main character of your own movie. Reference photo not even being how he finished he blended it so well and took his time to Matt my hair down to see how it would lay and then would continue to work on it to ensure it’d survive past when I get out the shop. These men care and are so very passionate about what they do and it shows in interactions, performance,...
Read moreRight when I walked in older guy bald head gave me a look and vibe in his tone that he didnt want me there. So I just left as i didnt want them to mess my hair up.
Reply- I wasn't going to jump into any chair as I barely just walked in he told me to go sit and just pointed in the corner where there is empty chairs so I asked him "where? Right here?" And he rudely said "THE BENCH" like I was suppose to be able to read his mind. Also I was the only person who would've been next. So the only rude person was your business. And that is why I didnt cut my hair there and took my money to someone who appreciates their customers. Definitely would give you guys negative stars.
Wouldn't recommend this place or ever go back to this place.
Reply- yes judging people by their looks isn't nice that's what you should tell your employees. Also being rude to your customers as they walk in is also not nice. So next time have a smile on your face and POLITELY tell your customers where they should sit would create a better atmosphere. I left because you guys were rude and giving me attitude for not knowing where to sit and wait. I don't go in expecting to be helped right away but if your rude and give me attitude for not knowing where to sit and wait. why would I not leave? Maybe have a sign saying wait...
Read moreI’m not into writing reviews but sometimes a business is so exceptional, whether bad or good, that it’s impossible not to comment. Barber Shop NYC is one of those places. I was looking for a place that did haircuts and beard trims and could be reserved online. BSNYC fit the bill and has a decent availability of weekend hours. I was assigned to a gentleman named Eli who seemed to have a pretty idea of what I was looking for. Well, let me tell you this- that day I received the Best Haircut of My Life! Full stop! Eli had performed a minor miracle- I looked about 10 years younger and about 10 pounds lighter just from this haircut and beard trim. Every single person I know commented on it to say how great it looked. Even people who, maybe, it wouldn’t be a great idea for them to make comments about my appearance couldn’t help themselves to say how great they thought it looked. It may have just been an illusion, but I would swear there were even 1 or 2 people who I didn’t know/never met who gave me positive feedback on my hair! I realize that not everyone will have the same exact experience. But do yourself a favor and book yourself an appointment with Eli- I think you’ll be really happy...
