Mel's Magnificent Cheesecakes — Restaurant in New York

My first order and experience with MMCheesecakes was just amazing. My great grandmother had passed and I was in charge of the desserts for the repass. I ordered 1 Strawberry cheesecake with strawberries on the top and in the middle & 1 Sweet Potato cheesecake. The old ladies at the repass literally ripped the box apart to get his number for orders. With that being said it was a hit. My next set of orders were the minis. Which came in great time for Thanksgiving. Mel happened to travel to Atlanta where I lived , so I had to share my experience with my co workers so I had a tasting with 4 different flavors. I will start out by saying I love cheesecake especially homemade cheesecake that is made fresh and not sitting in a glass display for months. I ordered the Golden Oreo Cheesecake and all I can say was...Oh My Goodness (Shanaynay from Martin voice). That was honestly the best cheesecake that i've had. He has flavors that I don't see a lot of people using. I ate the cheesecake so fast I got mad and said what happened to the cheesecake lol. Don't read this review and not try the golden Oreo cheesecake. It is really good. The prices are affordable and the quality of the cheesecake is great. Mel's cheesecakes are not only fresh and made to order, but they are creative. I love the texture which has a homemade and creamy consistency. The crust is equally as excellent. I have had the golden oreo, and the strawberry but my favorite is the caramel!!! with the golden oreo coming in a close second. I appreciate the time and attention put into the cheesecakes and the details are just as important especially because I am one to eat with my eyes first. I will continue to order from Mel's.
