Mi Casita — Restaurant in New York

I wish I could leave a review for the food but we never tasted it.

Ordered from here last night via caviar. The app confirmed the restaurant received the order and it was being made.

45 minutes roll by and no food. We call them and they say it’s 10 minutes away.

20 minutes more and no food. We call them again and they say it’s 5 minutes away.

Oh, you thought it was over? No. The saga continues.

We are now 2 hours out from when we ordered and no food. We call again and they ask us to repeat the entire order. Then we asked what is going on and they hung up on us.

Finally, we got our $66 back through the app.

I wish I could comment on the quality of food but I can say the quality of service is an absolute dumpster fire. I have no idea how this restaurant has managed to stay open. Let alone...

12$ 8/10 Tinga Tostadas(3); Ingredients were freshly cut and and portion was enough to fill me up. A bit disappointing that the tostadas seem to be the Guerrero ones from the supermarket or those that you buy for 2$ where as other authentic mexican restaurants have them home made

I had a good time here! I stayed for a while due to La Rosa de Guadalupe playing lol and the good environment

Being mexican, I'd say the tortilla was little undercooked to the point of breaking by the last bite, 30 seconds would of made it just the way I like it. If youre not Mexican you probably wont mind🤷‍♂️

But! Ingredients were VERY fresh

Being that I didnt ask for crispy tortilla, I wont hurt the Tacos grading but I'll give it a 10/10

I am really upset, they took almost 2 hours to deliver the food and on top of that the lady who picked up the phone was Really rude when being asked about the time. She hung up the phone 2 times and my food arrived almost 2 hours later COLD !!!!!! The tortilla was cold , I asked for chicken enchiladas and I received steak. I will never order food from this restaurant. I don’t recommend please don’t waste...
