Milano Pizza & Pasta — Restaurant in New York

Please save your money & order somewhere else. My coworkers & I placed an order with multiple items each including chicken. I am unsure how they wash or where they get their chicken from because the chicken smelled so bad not just one order but the whole entire order. We wanted to give the benefit of the doubt & try the chicken tenders they were burnt & gross. She took a bite and immediately felt sick. We saw the pictures on google of the food & wanted to try..BIG REGRET!!We reached out to the pizzeria to address the matter in a civil way & to warn them about the chicken because it was under cooked & that smell was not normal which can make other customers sick. The two people we spoke with were rude, not helpful said the chicken is always fresh which was not the case. We would not lie. We just wanted to have a good lunch instead we had to dispose of it because it was smelling up the place & order from another spot. Pepo needs to give his staff a training on customer service it was our first time ordering & it will be our last. They need to reevaluate their definition of “FRESH”because this chicken looks dry & spoiled The health department should take a trip to this location. I wish I could give this place a negative star.. Not often you can find an excellent pizza joint in an unexpected area. Considering you can buy a cheap disgusting $1.00 Slice down the hill, on 145th. I had been searching for the perfect sausage and peppers parmesan hero for a long time. Tried a place in lower Manhattan, Horrible! Anyway, I found this place by mistake, on my bike. We got the normal places to find a bite to eat. I ordered A sausage parmesan hero, without the peppers...."nasty anywhere" , with extra cheese and sauce. I ask the cook can he please make the sausage well done?!....and brown the hero bread. It takes a minute to make it, and the price is like .25 more than a fake Subbwayy from Subway. Or a rubbery Hero from one of our corner bodega, indian, mexican, deli..... and pay 1.50 less, so 8.00 bucks for a hot hero such as the one i ordered, pricey but well worth it. The hero was made just the way i ordered it....It was filling, flavorful, and just over all a great piece of work. If you are in the area, WANT PIZZA, go there... you will not be...

PLEASE READ FOR AN UPDATE!:

Husband ordered food for kids.. Great pizza but looks like it fell... NOT out of the box but fell... and we order all the time! 1st time this happen and was sad to see it! 2 out of 3 looked bad the 3rd was prefect! I still highly recommend them, but maybe need a new delivery technique!

UPDATE: After getting informed by owners that it's another delivery company and not them, I have given them the entire 5 stars they deserve!!! Hopefully, they can take my pictures and share it with the companies that are used for deliveries to help ensure myself or others food...
