Authentic Mexican food and ambiance. If you dont mind Mexicans mostly from the southern states of Mexico Guerrero, Puebla mixed with Caribbean and Centro Americans this is the place to go enjoy some tacos or your fav appetizers. Beers are mad cheap make sure you order the Cubetazo(beer bucket) they give you chips and salsa or peanuts. They also do karaoke over the weekends most people here are regular and friendly if you know a word or 2 of Spanish. Mexicans may look intimidating but not really they are just respectful and dont wanna bother you but once you start up conversation they will do everything to please you and make feel like part of the group. If somebody buys you a beer just accept it cause that person is trying to be nice to you and you dont have to give back unless you really want to. Bathrooms maybe an issue just like in any bar but they let you use the ladies room as loon as you dont make a mess when free of course. I’ve always come here and it’s always been good but today it was different and horrible, the food tasted nasty! And after I complained they said I should’ve let them know first (when I didn’t even finished it, and I tried to without complaining but it was just that nasty that I couldn’t continue eating it) and I replied I’m going to pay it just give me something else (not in a rude way) and they were like we will give you something else in exchange which was okay, but what I didn’t like is that they were talking about it where I could hear them and just being messy!!! Saying it wasn’t damage and just staring back and just talking to talk when I didn’t make a big deal about it I was going to pay it either way but yeah!! Last time I will be going there plus their tacos tasted nasty as well! Bad service plus no respect for their customers! Very disappointed!...

Authentic traditional prime location and full of true character. Yes many see the food and the quality and the fill house with the hard working staff but what makes this establishment stand out for me is what they do when no one is looking or in this case what they do without advertising it out at least for credit. But I have seen them do this many times and it's done to help out the community and to not let GODs good food go to waste. At the end of the night all the top quality food the steak fish rice and even desserts is handed out individually to the less fortunate homeless or the needy. Late late at night prior to their closing they wrap up food neatly and respectfully to the homeless young crowd that flood these streets.
