As a person who works in the health field, walking into this 181UCC it gives me a different sense of what to expect and what can occur that might seem frustrating to most but sensible to one that understands their backend protocols and procedures, that being said and before I get called in as I am waiting area, 181UCC has a lil ways to go. Check in— on the kiosk is now swift but the sitting game only begins. Waiting to be called— in the front you lose a lil hope but soon enough you are called and you feel like things will look up. Triage—- the staff triaging are swift and efficient and so you think things will continue to go that way.until you get called to the back waiting area. Back waiting area—- the seating area looks modern-esk and long so plenty of seating, right ? WRONG! The seats are very uncomfortable kind of slanted so you feel like you are falling off, and the waiting which is long is only augmented by the discomfort and staff passing by you hoping not to asked a question. Sweet sound—— when your name is ultimately called you normally get seen right away unless you get called into the room to wait for another empty doctors office. But let’s just say you go straight in to a doctor they are amazing great service and if you have any question they will answer everyone. Just make sure that the time in the waiting area you are keeping in mind everything you need to talk to the doctor so your time...
Read moreAttending doctor was unprofessional stating with the tragedies going on in the world it is silly for people to be worried over nothing in reference to patient visiting due to great discomfort of a limb. Attending doctor was also unprofessional when had patient's limb screened and informed patient's offspring that an injection would be administered if results indicated the limb was not broken or dislocated. Attending doctor called in patient and patient's offspring to room and had injection almost fully prepared, told the patient to remove top garment, and proceeded to speak in English to the Spanish-speaking patient to "Hurry up, I have another patient." Patient was not informed what the injection was, patient was not given opportunity to decide if she would like to receive the injection, patient was not treated respectfully as attending doctor was fluent in Spanish but made these inappropriate comments in the English language. Attending doctor reported patient's results were forwarded to a hospital, name not disclosed, as attending doctor "is not a radiologist". Attending doctor confirmed she is not a radiologist, from whatever basic knowledge she has of radiology she proceeded to administer an injection unknown to the patient. No discharge paperwork was provided. Patient continues to experience severe pain in the limb. Avoid this urgent care as much...
Read moreI’d like to update this review. I visited this urgent care yesterday to get some vaccines for a trip. The doc had the prescription sent to a CVS for me to get the next day. When I got to the CVS the next day they said they didn’t have my prescription. I called the urgent care and they said they did. It was about after 2 hours that I was then told by the CVS that they don’t even have the vaccine I needed in stock. How does one discover this news after being told 2 hours prior what it was EXACTLY that I needed? I don’t know. This wasn’t the urgent cares fault BUT they did fall short. They never checked in with the pharmacy to see if they had it and I was informed I could get it the next day. CLEARLY not the case. Not only that but I called about 15 times when this happened and Received no answer except once where I was put on hold for 5 minutes then hung up on. Luckily my mother knew the person who runs the place so getting in contact afterwards was easier. The thing is that’s NOT how it should be. This is an URGENT care. I shouldn’t have to go through people I know to have to get something SO simple done.
I am grateful for the help BUT not happy with all I had to do to get some assistance. Had I not had the connections I had, I’d probably still be...
