The Blue Lobster — Restaurant in New York

My recent visit to "The Blue Lobster" was disappointing from start to finish. After being seated, it took about 20 minutes before I had to flag down a server just to place our food order. The restaurant was nearly empty, with only four tables occupied, yet the service was incredibly slow. When the food finally arrived, it was a letdown. The dishes were bland, and my fillet was charred, leaving an unpleasant burnt taste. The utensils provided were inadequate, with butter knives instead of proper steak knives, making it difficult to enjoy the meal.

To make matters worse, some of my family’s orders were forgotten, so we ended up eating at different times. Empty plates and cups cluttered our table for most of the meal, as no one came to clear them unless prompted. The service was unprofessional, with servers lacking basic etiquette. i ordered shrimp cocktail for an appetizer. The shrimp was warm and soggy and did not combine well with the sauce - which was a combo of ketchup and mayonaise: leave that sauce for pastelitos. For my meal I ordered lobster tail with sauteed vegestables. i asked whether the lobster was baked or steamed and after her asking around, she then came back and told me it was steamed. I ordered it and when it came the lobster was overcooked and i believed it was baked instead. It was chewy and not edible at all. The service was great but as far as the food - ill pass.
