As a local in this area, there are only a few places I would highly recommend for pizza in this area and this is definitely one of them! The pizza here is super fluffy and has flavor throughout the crust and I normally don't like to eat the crust. The sauce was light, fresh, and sweet; the tomatoes were just amazing in the margarita pizza! I am all about plain cheese pizza so I would recommend getting the margarita pizza here I found it to have a good amount of cheese and sauce which I love. For me, you can never have enough cheese! I had the red velvet cake slice here which is honestly the best red velvet hands down I ever tried in the city and I have had some top-rated places, the icing was cream cheese and it was amazing! I am super excited to have this in our neighborhood in Washington Heights and if you are not in the mood for pizza but your partner is you can always grab cheeseburgers and hot dogs next door at Burger heights and eat together in the outside seating! I give this place 5 stars and highly recommend it; the only thing I have not yet tried is the lattes here but I will the next...
Read moreFinally got to try pizza heights and it was wonderful. Really kind service and beautiful pizza. We had a Margherita pie and every element was great - vibrant tomatoes, creamy mozz, salty nutty Parm, light and flavorful crust and really fresh tasting basil. I believe I was speaking with the owner behind the counter and he was a really lovely guy and obviously very excited about what he’s serving, rightfully so. We also had a lemon ginger tart that was very tasty. I don’t imagine this pizza travels very well, it’s very soft with very wet ingredients as is standard for traditional Neapolitan pizza. If you want to enjoy this at its best you need to visit the restaurant. Also the space itself and sidewalk patio is a great experience in itself. I had high expectations for Pizza Heights and they went well...
Read moreLove having this option up here now. This is our 3rd time getting Pizza Heights with mixed dietary needs and it hits the spot. I don't mind paying a little higher prices for actual ingredients. The whole pies are Neopolitan style, the slices are Roman style. If you're expecting a typical NY slice (loads of oil and a slice the size of your forearm), this ain't it. The staff has always been friendly, and we don't even order ahead because it takes about 10 min from start to finish to walk out with your pizza. The picture is missing a slice because I couldn't wait. Thank you for bringing non-dairy options to the Heights, and not pre-filling...
