Went here today 05/24/2023 to grab a couple of slices. I was told Lucia Flushing has expanded to Bayside so I had to drop by & check it out. I must say the regular cheese slices taste exactly like the original Flushing location which is an A++. The cheese is robust with a soft doughy undercarriage. Although parking is a little bit of a headache here due to the multiple dealerships & NYPD precinct in close proximity it's still much MUCH better than in comparison to driving to Flushing for a slice.

Flushing has become just about un-drivable & anti-motorist friendly as possible. I was able to find parking in under 5 minutes in the inner residential blocks. The inside is clean & has some seating space with chairs & tables outside as well. Their prices are very fair considering the high inflation times we are all living in...I got 3 regular slices under $10 & the slices are pretty big. I mean there's just not that many pizzerias left in NYC with that kind of bang for your buck anymore. I highly recommend this spot 😊 & will...

Service plays a factor in how likely I am to return to an establishment. Poor service is acceptable to a certain extent, but it was not acceptable for my most recent visit. I ordered a small pie ahead of time for take out over the phone and the worker told me it'll take 15-20 minutes. I arrived there 20 minutes later, and apparently they completely forgot to start my order. The worker tells me it'll take an additional 5 minutes (?). That seems impossible but I accept it. Guess what? I end up waiting 40 minutes for my order there. And to make it worse, my order included a can soda. So, I tell the worker I'm going to grab a soda from the fridge AFTER PAYING for my order. He has the audacity to ask me "Did you pay?" after seeing me grab the soda. Honestly if anything, I believe I deserved a soda in the house after waiting 40 minutes for my order that should've been ready by the time I arrived.

Their food is good, but it's not good enough to compensate for the...

Trash service. Lucia in Flushing is the OG and the spot I’ve been going to since I was a kid. Discovered they opened a location in Bayside so of course I had to order. We ordered on Uber and it estimate the delivery to be about 50 minutes. After an hour passed we decided to call and check in since they use their own drivers and some reviews had mentioned 2 hour wait times. The guy who picked up was rude and combative from the jump. We asked to check on a status of the delivery not to complain it’s taking so long. About 20 minutes later the pizza arrived and I thank the delivery driver. She gave me this look and said with the nastiest tone you didn’t tip you know! I said no we did tip it’s on Uber. She said oh and turned around and left. No sorry, nothing. Disappointed but this location is trash and I won’t be supporting either location anymore. Pizza was good but there are far better local...

We are very big fans of Lucia in Flushing and was estactic to hear they were opening a new location in Queens. Their new location in Bayside opened to the public yesterday. The new location isn't very large with only three or four tables but interior feels spacious and clean. We ordered a medium regular pie ($14.50) and six garlic knots ($2.95). Everything tasted great and prices were reasonable, specially for this neighborhood. Staff were so nice and they have extended hours of operation (open every day from 10am to 9pm everyday except for Friday and Saturday it's 10am-10pm). So glad they have expanded too this neighborhood.

I understand they’re brand new and they have to work out some of the kinks but my goodness the service is terrible. The kid with the glasses and backwards hat, God bless his soul, has no clue what he’s doing. The pasta e fagioli taste like dirty water pasta sauce thats about to go sour. The penne bologonese is a 3/10. They boil the penne and dont drain it enough, mix it with their sauce and meat they make in the pan. But the end product is underwhelming. The wings good, the plain slice good. JUST COME FOR THE WINGS AND SLICE, that is all. Anything else don’t waste your money.
