I recently had the pleasure of dining at Mommy's, and I can't say enough good things about my experience! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere that felt like home. The decor is charming, and the cozy seating creates the perfect backdrop for a memorable meal. The menu at Mommy's is a delightful mix of comfort food and innovative dishes. I ordered the signature Mommy's Mac and cheese, and it was absolutely divine— Mommy's also boasts an impressive drink menu. I tried the house-made tangerita, which was tangy and refreshing, making it the perfect complement to our meal. They have an excellent selection of wines and craft cocktails, ensuring there's something for everyone. The service was impeccable. Our bartenders was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive without being overbearing. They made great recommendations and checked on us just the right amount, making sure our glasses were never empty. I was SO excited to try Mommy’s, but had an unfortunately disappointing experience. Upon entering, the place is cute and there were a few other patrons enjoying their night. No one greeted us, we sat at the bar and proceeded to chat and read over the menu. As a craft bartender, I was impressed with the cocktail menu and liquor choices. Sadly, the female bartender working Saturday night proceeded to “watch” us but never greet us. She was seemingly scoffing at our discussion about the great liquor selection? Not sure why that was insulting of us. We waited nearly 15 minutes to be acknowledged, when she finally approached her attitude was short and unwelcoming. I’ve been to Mommy’s a few times and each time there has been excellent service, drinks, atmosphere and food! We had a private event here and the staff were so accommodating, everyone loved the space, drinks and food! I definitely recommend this place for anyone who needs a private event space in the future.
