We planned a birthday brunch event at Sage, the space look great and we had dinner at the restaurant before so we were very excited about it. When I called to make the reservation the hostess confirmed it. I then called a week after to reconfirm and there was not record of my reservation being made. Anyway, we didn’t make a big deal but did want to make sure we spoke with a manager since we had a birthday cake and wanted to watch a football game. After speaking to a manager we thought all will go smooth the day of the event but unfortunately to our surprise it was a big disappointment. When we arrived for the reservation we sat down (party of 15 people), we had one server who was sweet but had no idea what was going on and was going extremely unorganized. The food was never served at the same time which made it super awkward because some people had food and others didn’t. To top that our drinks took a long time to make (we ordered mimosas which don’t usually take much time to make). Additionally the bartender had a terrible attitude when we asked her if she could help us with drinks. Terrible service overall. When we tried to ask for the manager he came by and said that he was busy and that he didn’t have time for us, he said he was busy and the kitchen was short staffed. We felt super unwelcome and truly wish we had our event somewhere else. Furthermore, the game was never played because the manager and the bartender could not figure out the TVs, when we made the reservation we specially ask for the 1pm football game which they said they could show but to our unpleasant surprise they didn’t have the channel. Again we really wished that we had the event somewhere else. Lastly, the birthday cake was served, the server didn’t at all assist us with a tray or plates or silverware. We had to get up and grab them ourselves. It was a terrible birthday experience and very embarrassing that we invited Our closest friends there. It’s such a disappointment because Sage has a great space. The manager Woo at the end of the event said that he was sorry and that next time we go back he will provide us with a huge discount on our bill. Unfortunately we will not go back there again. My advise to management is to train your staff better and actually Value customers who choose your establishment as a space to host special occasions. It was my 35th birthday and I truly wish I chose a different venue as all was extremely...

I've eaten at Sage several times since I moved to this area not too long ago. And tonight, my wife and I were driving by it and decided to order pickup food. I got a vegetable pad thai with no tofu, and my wife got a vegetable red curry.
They took the normal time, handled my bag and I left. But by the time I got back home I noticed my pad thai had shrimps, which I didn't order and didn't want in my food, and no veggies :( Since it was the rush hour, I didn't want to spent another hour going there to get another dish, so I called and asked if they would give me some credits back for a future time (I like this place and I was willing to pardon their little mistake). But the person who answered the phone, said it was my mistake, and that I ordered shrimp pad thai. I told her that this was not the case (and my wife is a witness) and she insisted that it was my mistake. I started to fee very irritated as she keeps telling me that it was my mistake. I mean... shrims sound exactly like "vegetable". We even repeated the order 3 times! (They also misspelled my name! So go figured!)
Anyway, after she talked to the manager, she said that it was not possible to give me a refund or credit towards a future order, and that if I wanted a new dish I should go back there now. I insisted that this was not possible due to the rush hour, and that I would rather just throw away the shrimps and eat the pad thai as is and get a credit or discount in my next visit, which I believe it is really fair. Besides they charged me extra for those shrimps. After she refused I hang off the phone and threw away the shrimp. And now I'm having a little allergic reaction because of those shrimps. Very disappointed.
Sage... you lost me, my family and my friends as a client.

Read moreI recently dined at Sage, a restaurant recommended to me by a local, and my overall experience left me with a pleasant impression.
The Spicy Chicken Wings. Although I had high expectations, I found these wings to be slightly dry and not quite what I had anticipated. They lacked the punch and juiciness I usually associate with this dish. It's safe to say I may opt for something else on the menu during my next visit.
On the other hand, the Panang Curry was a true standout. It was a symphony of bold and delightful flavors that danced on my taste buds. The curry was rich and aromatic, perfectly complemented by the inclusion of rice and a serving of greens. This dish was an absolute winner, and I would definitely order it again without hesitation.
Moving on to the Pad See Ew, I was pleasantly surprised by its taste and texture. Unlike other Thai restaurants I've tried, Sage managed to serve up a less oily version of this classic dish. The flavors were well-balanced, and the noodles were cooked to perfection. It was a delectable choice, and I appreciated the attention to detail in reducing the oil content.
Overall, my experience at Sage was positive. While the Spicy Chicken Wings didn't meet my expectations, the Panang Curry and Pad See Ew more than made up for it. The restaurant's ambiance was cozy and inviting, making it a suitable choice for a last-minute dinner outing. I would certainly consider returning to explore more of their menu and savor those bold Thai flavors once again. Sage has the potential to become a reliable go-to spot for those seeking a flavorful Thai meal...
