Mr Kam — Restaurant in New York

This is probably the worst Chinese restaurant that I have ever had the displeasure to eat from. I used to order from them several years ago and they were fantastic. In the past two weeks, I have ordered, for my family twice. The first time, the wonton soup was extremely bland, and the wontons were so overcooked that the pork filling was almost cardboard tasting. My sons chicken broccoli was disgusting. My wife asked for ribs and shrimp fried rice and received plain fried rice and the ribs were half cooked. Normally I would not have reordered from such a place,mouth today was the 4th of July and most others were closed. I ordered steamed dumplings and the were half steamed. There wasn’t even dumpling sauce included. My wife’s ordered fried shrimp with shrimp fried rice. The shrimp were so over fried she tossed them in the trash. I asked for tarter sauce when I ordered and they did not include. Instead of shrimp fried rice the sent pork fried rice. The shrimp roll I ordered was saturated in oil. When I called them to complain, their response was an absolute shame.it was as if they received these complaints daily. DO NOT...

So I ordered a 2 piece chicken wings along side a small shrimp & broccoli. When I arrived, they were cleaning and wiping down everything with the same wet rag. My wings weren’t ready by the time I arrived, so they decided to throw some in the fryer, while not washing their hands from the “cleaning” they were doin. one of the pieces of chicken fell onto a counter, where they just finish wiping down with that dirty rag. The lady tried to prop her body to block me from seeing them take that same chicken that just fell and slide into a bag. Once I witnessed that, I quickly addressed them about it. Like ppl have to eat this smh. She apologized after realizing they were caught being insanitary while handling the food. She rushed and fried another piece, threw it in the same bag previously used for the prior “dirty chicken”. When I looked inside the bag holding the rest of the food. I never write reviews so you know its serious. I have been ordering from them for a while now but never again. Not only do their prices tend to change with every order but the quality of their product continues to decline. I was charged $19 dollars for a beef and broccoli lunch special with an order of chicken wings. The wings were not fresh and looked as if they were refried several times. I asked for a ginger ale they sent sprite. I asked for white rice they send fried. She accused me of ordering fried rice, something a dont eat and never have. When i questioned the soda she said they were out. Instead of calling me to offer other options she decided what i would pay for. Them had the never to tell me if i want white rice i had not only come and get it but return the fried rice ! Thats mixed in with the beef and broccoli! will never patronize this business again their just rude and unprofessional. I wish Kum Kau in Clinton Hill would by them out, bring quality products into a quality...
