Brooklyn Cafe & Eatery — Restaurant in New York

I went here with a friend before for lunch. The signs says, please wait to be seated, but nobody came to seat us. The waitress took quite a while to come over. My friend ordered a sandwich "Deluxe"- to us that means fries and onion rings... I ordered two things cheese balls, and crostini.... We also had coffee.... which was not good. After about 15 minutes the waitress came to tell me that they were out of the crostini... and ask what I wanted instead,,, Nothing.. She came right back with my cheese balls and 5 minutes later with an egg salad sandwich for my friend. Only fries.. When my friend mentioned the onion rings, the waitress seemed uncertain about whether or not the resteraunt included them with deluxe. ...They did not. Nobody came to refill our coffee or water glasses. The entire staff stayed on the other side of the restaurant. And did not come to check on us.. We were twiddling our thumbs waiting for a check while the waitress was hanging out by the counter.. Another customer even had to bring her food to the counter to get the staff to notice that she wanted it packed... I will never do there again... Very...

one of the owners was the worse I've every encountered. i ordered a Roll & in instructions I said bacon egg and cheese because I never see that option. last time i had to order 2 eggs sandwich and in instructions ask for bacon egg & CHEESE however the charge me $6.50. i know damn well a BE& C does not cost that much. so today they only sent a Roll. I called the owner was arrogant, cocky & defensive. he continuously talked over me. never allowed me tho talk saying you ordered a Roll for a $1.75 & that's what you got. I mentioned my instructions & he jumped all in not letting me finish. he was saying 'instructions are for condiments" then why did you follow them when I ordered the $6.50 egg sandwich??? technically I was only supposed to get an EGG sandwich. He was so belligerent I hung up the phone and went to the store to get my husband a sandwich so we all could have breakfast together. I usually order frequently, but because this nasty owner did not have the common courtesy to call me to clarity my order (which is what my phone number is for) or the kindness to at least listen to me...I'LL NEVER ORDER...

The AC was on today and I'm not sure why. However it is a nice place, our waitress was a bit slow maybe bcuz it's a busier day than usual, but she was very pleasant. Scrambled eggs are the easiest thing to make and they were absolutely horrible, I had to disect my bacon because even tho I asked for it to be very well done and crispy and I got so much fat which I do not like. The only great thing on the plate was the home fries, the waitress forgot to ask what toast we wanted and we reminded her and then had to wait 15 mins after our food came to get the toast. My mom enjoyed her stuff so that's what's important, I am still hungry tho. The waitress didn't come and ask what we thought of the food or anything. I am throughly dissatisfied and disappointed in thos place. I didn't want to tip our waitress cuz I felt she did nothing to deserve one, but since my mom used to be a waitress she...
