My first time entering into this place and I must say I was a little hesitant. I hesitated only because of the construction work going on on the outside of the building. There was too much dust flying around and it just kept me away because dust flies. So I waited a second day but there was still construction outside but I had to try it today otherwise I would not be in the neighborhood for the next 2 months. I took the chance. I sat down and I was immediately greeted by a young handsome gentleman who took my order and explained to me the difference between a regular taco vs. the birria. The way he described it sounded so mouthwatering as he spoke about the juices from the meat and the diced onions I couldn't help but to say okay okay okay stop it bro You making me salvate over here real badly and it's not good to salvate on the table lol. So I ordered it and when it came out I was a little surprised because I'm not used to having a mushy texture taco. The cheese was great in flavor and the meat omg absolutely wonderfully seasoned nothing overly salty nothing overly spicy absolutely everything meshed well to make my taste buds want to cry out YES, THIS ISWHAT WE HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR. LOL. This place serves you a small amount of chips and salsa as a starter. The salsa was not like the salsa I'm used to having which would be the tiny dices of tomato and onion in a watery tomatoes sauce. But, that is one of the reasons why they are different. instead their salsa was more like a creamy sauce and I could be describing that incorrectly but it was a little thicker than puree maybe? Nonetheless it was spanking, omg the nice beautiful red color from the tomato the nice thickness as it sat on top of the tortilla chip helped to make it more enjoyable. Every time I go back and yes I will be back I will certainly ask for more salsa. I can put that salsa on anything. The location is not very easily seen even though it is at the corner. One could pass it by at least during the day I don't know if at night they have lights outside or something but during the day it can be easily passed by so it's a good thing they do have some type of outdoor seating going on. The interior is cute but definitely needs more room. With approximately six to seven tables maybe, it definitely does appear to be small. A place that has this much great food needs to be in a larger space so more people can enjoy what they offer. Also there is a bar so you definitely need the largest space because you need to set more drinks out. Thank you so very much to the young gentleman who waited my table I'm sorry I didn't get your name but we will talk again. Thank you for making my first experience here a deliciously great experience. Oh, before I go the bill was less than $35 and I would say it was well worth it. As far as parking you'll be better off either getting there very early or taking the b45, or b65 and walking over or take the iron horse. Parking especially with construction going on is challenging. So great job "I will be back," as...

I work a few minutes away so my colleague & I would often times DoorDash from here. Today my partner picked me up for lunch & I suggested we come here. While ordering I initially asked for 3 fish tacos, 2Birria tacos & 1 shrimp taco. The waiter informed me that birria tacos came in an order of 3, I proceeded to cancel the 1 shrimp order & go with the order of 3 Birria tacos only. While my partner was going to bite into his food I noticed that he had a shrimp taco & immediately stopped him ( He can’t consume shrimp) we called the waiter over & explained to him the error & asked if the shrimp can be taken back & we receive the fish tacos as requested initially. He looked a little confused but proceeded to the kitchen to tell the cooks. A few seconds later he returned & told us that he is sure that I made an error when ordering & never mentioned fish tacos. I explained to him again that I initially wanted one shrimp taco & 2 Birria tacos however after he explained to me that Birria tacos come in 3 I cancelled the shrimp. The waiter continued to insist that I made the error , My partner then asked him if there was a possibility that he made an error , the waiter said “Yes”. After admitting that he could have made the error he stated that we would still be charged for the Shrimp tacos (that we didn’t consume). This was a very...

Oh. My. Goodness. If you're looking for a restaurant that understands the true meaning of "hangry prevention," then this is your spot. From the moment we sat down, they graced our table with the holy grail of appetizers: free chips and salsa. I mean, seriously, it's like they read my mind. Who doesn't love a little pre-meal snack to keep those ordering jitters at bay? Pure genius, I tell you. I opted for the burrito, and let me tell you, it didn't just hit the spot; it annihilated the spot, then did a celebratory dance on its grave. Utterly delicious. Beyond the food coma, the service was just as delightful. Our waiter was super friendly, which is always a bonus when you're trying to decide between the guacamole and the queso (the eternal struggle). The vibe of the place is perfectly neighborly. It's the kind of spot where you can actually hear your friends' jokes (and not just the muffled sounds of a million other conversations). Great for a casual get-together. Our only regret? We missed happy hour by a mere few minutes. Clearly, the universe was testing our patience. But honestly, with food this good and free chips on deck, it was still a win. We'll just have to be...
