Nicky’s Unisex — Restaurant in New York

Great new bar in south williamsburg with a cool crowd. They always have fantastic music playing, and a live DJ sets up in the evenings. The outdoor seating area is covered and has a good amount of space. Mostly 2-seater tables but they can easily be pulled together to accomodate larger parties. There are also some high top tables and bar stools around the corner. Seat yourself and go inside to order food and drinks. Nicky’s Unisex is a super fun spot to relax and unwind. In fact, it is our favorite neighborhood bar.

The vibe is always welcoming, laid back and exactly what you are looking for at exactly the time you happen to be there. Added bonus is someone’s killer iPod? Playlist? ….Basically, the music is great.

As for the drinks, they are all spot on, but I would definitely try Nicky’s famous Pirate Ted. It’s quite possibly the best frozen drink...

Not a bad little bar. But the bouncer on Saturdays is really awful. He wouldn’t let multiple people in their 30s with legitimate IDs into the bar because they couldn’t immediately name their horoscope. He ignored anyone who calmly tried to explain that it’s a wild thing to require and was just kinda a miserable guy overall. Okay spot for dancing but be aware you might have a weird...
