omg finally!! as a new yorker itās embarrassing to say iām not a big bagel person but itās true. i find them to be too hard and boring, i think there are so many other better breads to make a sandwich with. this completely changed my mind! iāve been wanting to try tompkins for a while and now that iāve started going on my bagel crawl i was finally able to go. i have been eyeing a good french toast bagel after i was disappointed with liberty bagels (there are no raisins in french toast so there shouldnāt be any in a french toast bagel). this did not disappoint whatsoever!! it was soft so it didnāt have the issue that bagels normally do. it was also sweet without being too sweet so it can pass for breakfast or dessert depending on your cream cheese choice. i chose espresso cream cheese because iām a huge coffee lover and this was pure perfection. it wasnāt bitter which can sometimes happen when itās an espresso flavor. it matched so well with the french toast bagel. i need to go back to tompkins to try a bunch of the other cream cheese flavors but ill also got to try the pb nutella. it was good but the winner definitely goes to espresso. the flavor of the pb nutella was good though because sometimes pb overpowers whatever it is paired with but this was balanced well. overall i think the quality of the bagels and the flavor of the cream cheese make tompkins a great bagel place to try. the best iāve had so far and i love the huge selection of both...

You will be overwhelmed by their extensive menu of bagels, cream cheese, deli meats, sandwiches and pastries once you step in. But Iāve got you coveredāhere are my top 3 picks if youāre a first timer.
ļ¼Mixed Berry CC on Blueberry Bagel A sweet cream cheese and bagel combo. I am typically a savory bagel/pastry person, but this mixed berry cc on blueberry bagel is an exception. The cream cheese is blended with fresh and actual berries and tastes like yogurt, while the bagel is like a not-too-sweet version of blueberry loaf cake. It is the definition of a good and sweet NY bagel imo.
ļ¼The Weezer on Onion Bagel The Weezer is my go-to order, which is made of crisped bacon, spicy chorizo, egg, cheddar, and cream cheese of your choice. I picked scallion cream cheese as the aroma of scallion matches the ingredients. Onion bagel is coated with toasted minced onion on the crust, giving the sandwich an extra layer of fragrance. The sandwich is HUGE so it could be a filling meal.
ļ¼Pumpkin Spiced CC on Halloween Bagel Yayyy I finally got my hands on their Halloween specials. It was sold out last year. It tasted like plain bagel but the orange color with black swirls...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI used to like here. However, after the recent visit here, I would never go here again. The worker with glasses and blonde hair was very rude. Worst customer service ever. She was not professional either. I ordered a lemonade but she gave me something else. So I asked for the lemonade, and she seemed kinda annoyed, asking me "Are you good now?" After that, I asked for the receipt. Again, she looked annoyed and had an attitude. As a customer, I have my right to ask for the receipt especially after when the worker gave me something wrong. The worst part was that I was waiting for my bagel for more than 10 minutes, so I was worried if my bagels are not ordered well. So I asked another worker if my bagels are ready. I asked because other people who ordered before me already left after taking their bagels. When I asked this, the blonde worker I mentioned before yelled at me, scolding me that I should just sit down and wait. I can't believe how racist, rude, and unprofessional she was. I did not do anything wrong and she just yelled at me for no reason. I cannot support any store with this rude behavior. Last time I came here, people were kind but today's experience was the worst one...
