Piazza Pizza — Restaurant in New York

Lethargic, sluggish and inept service. Extremely SLOW to process orders despite what would appear to be non-busy weekdays. Sadly the food is semi-decent. I ordered from here on several occasions and always had a 45 min wait for a cooked dish. Regardless, my last interaction was the final attempt. I called in an order, one dish and one Sicilian slice, pick up. Waited 30 mins and called to verify the order was done. The guy who answered the phone confirmed it was cooked and ready.

I get there and alas not only is the order NOT ready but the plebs cooked the wrong dish! A rotund and portly man looked semi annoyed and flabbergasted. The underlings and minions scrambled aimlessly as if an ICE raid was in progress. I was told/lied too that the order was almost done despite the obvious contradiction since the wrong dish was cooked. How could it be almost done? I left and called for pick up Chinese off 30th avenue. By the time I got there, my Szechuan chicken and scallion pancakes were done and ready. No excuses. The Fat...

Charges top dollar for any and everything little thing, portions are below average. They do not understand what Vodka sauce is(ordered on 2 seperate occasions thinking that the first time either they or i screwed up while ordering)(nope)

Adding this after your reply as I could not add directly to your reply. When I presented the food to you after taking one bite and told you it wasnt correct and it didn't taste right, you said that there is nothing you can do about it and that's what it is. I wasn't looking for a refund or anything, was more curious about what you use in your vodka sauce and you totally blew me off. I used to spend $30 a week there minimum. Glad I am taking my money elsewhere now...

I've lived next to this pizza place, literally right next door, for 3 years. I've never gone, not sure why, maybe because it was "too close" and when you go out to eat you always look to go someplace a little out of your neighborhood. And it's always so easy to say, " oh it's so close I'll just go next time."

I cannot believe I've slept on this place for so long. I had three cheese slices and they were extremely solid. This isn't your fancy flare 57th Street Pizza. This is your no frills, unpretentious, delicious neighborhood slice, with a solid crust, thin body and satisfying marinara to cheese ratio.
