The Local Bar — Restaurant in New York

If I can remember, I always come here every friday night. Which is karaoke night. So, my review will be based on that specific night only.

Been there few times on friday night. Very busy night, very long line of karaoke, but the DJ did a veryyy good job. He remembers people's faces, like literally remember who requested what. His great memory amazed me and not to mention there is no pause or break. So, eventho its a long line of karaoke, but you will eventually singing.

Bartenders are great, drinks okay. Prices normal for the area, drink sometimes good, sometimes meh.

I like this spot, never too busy and it definitely feels like the local watering hole. The variety on draft is pretty good, but almost every time I've been there they've been out of something I wanted to order plus their online menu isn't frequently updated anymore, which is a bummer. The bartenders are also all very friendly, but often can't hear what you say because of the volume of the music. The nights they have live bands are even worse with not so great music playing obscenely loud. This is an awesome place, Chris and Megan brighten up my nights after a long day at work, even the customers are cool, you gotta meet Kevin lol (“always think positive” he says) Over 20 different kind of beers, great atmosphere, just awesome. Not to mention the owner being a humble hard working man. I’m not the kind of person that leaves reviews But they sure deserve one.
