Upon entering this establishment inadvertently while in search of restroom facilities, I was immediately captivated by the visually enticing array of pizzas on display, complemented by the exceptionally competitive pricing of medium pasta dishes at a mere $5—an offer that proved utterly irresistible. The experience was nothing short of remarkable. Though my order was relatively modest, it delivered immense satisfaction: a classic yet delectable assortment featuring penne alla vodka with its creamy, tomato-infused sauce balanced by subtle hints of spice, accompanied by perfectly seasoned garlic knots that were soft on the inside with a delightful crisp exterior, and a simple cheese pizza added impulsively, which showcased a harmonious blend of tangy sauce, gooey mozzarella, and a thin, well-baked crust. None of these selections fell short of expectations; in fact, they surpassed them, with the overall value for money being particularly noteworthy in an era of inflated dining costs. The interior ambiance radiates a sense of serene tranquility, providing a welcoming respite from the outside world. Conveniently, the space is interconnected with an adjacent retail outlet, expanding the range of options for patrons seeking variety beyond the menu. An outdoor seating area is also available, offering al fresco dining possibilities, though I chose to linger indoors, appreciating the efficient air conditioning that maintained a comfortably cool environment amid warmer weather. I anticipate exploring the exterior option during a future visit, perhaps to enjoy the interplay of natural light and ambient surroundings. In my extensive encounters with pizzerias, I have never before witnessed such proactive service as the staff preemptively clearing and tidying the table midway through the meal—a gesture that elevated the dining experience to one of refined attentiveness and efficiency. The personnel were courteous and unobtrusive, ensuring a seamless flow without any sense of intrusion. My only minor conundrum arises in selecting between the indoor and outdoor venues, as each holds equal allure. The interior fosters a calm, climate-controlled haven ideal for relaxed conversations or solitary reflection, while the exterior promises a warm, engaging vista that could enhance the meal with fresh air and scenic views—perhaps of passing pedestrians or nearby greenery. Seating is plentiful and thoughtfully arranged, contributing to a spacious feel that avoids any sense of overcrowding, even during peak hours. This establishment strikes an impressive balance of quality, affordability, and ambiance, making it a standout choice in the local culinary landscape. I wholeheartedly recommend it and eagerly anticipate my return for further exploration...
Read moreI went into today to ask for 2 slices of pizza(1 sausage/ pepperoni the other Hawaiian) so the man behind counter puts it in oven. When it was ready he calls the guy behind me to give him MY PIZZA but his pizza he already ordered was sitting on the counter waiting for him to take it. The cashier kept calling him but he had his head phones in ears. This customer grabbed my pizza and could not hear me say thats my pizza he put his spices on the pizza so was too late to take that. I said to worker that was mine you just gave it to him after telling you those 2 slices are mine. My son and i had to wait for the next batch. We never got an apology. When it was ready he put in box and handed it to me we could of walked out of store not paying know one would of known. It was so unorganized in there this evening.I was honest ,I walked up to cashier, paid and just left. When we left a woman outside ( who was already in the store waiting for her order saw what happened) she said to me the guy who put your pizza in oven took the 1st customer pizza that was already heated and sit on counter top in oven to be reheated for you. That mans pizza was sitting and waiting for 15 min .When we got home our pizza was too crunchy to even call ir PIZZA! The guy just did not care about what quality service or food he was...
Read moreThis place should have better reviews and more stars because it's a solid thin crispy New York slice that isn't too oily and has good flavor. I found the staff to be friendlier than average and it's a nice open airy shop with a cold AC and a shaded outdoor dining area. Clean and it has kind of a family vibe bc of the patrons and the open set-up where it adjoins a mofongo restaurant on the other side. I almost didn't go in bc of the 3.9 rating, but the best indicator is are locals patronizing the place? And yes! Best for last: this is a convenient Manhattan location and the plain slice is only $2.50 and the (nice and spicy) pepperoni is only $3. There was a Dominican guy coming out of the other side and he said the Mofongo was good, so I'll try it next time too. Pizza del...
