I wanted some good food yesterday after leaving the hair salon and this place popped up. I truly enjoyed the food, and service! It took a while for the food to come but, I was patient and it was worth it and the coffee was some of the best I’ve ever had! They do alot of takeout so I think that’s the reason for a longer wait. I sat in there a long time eating, listening to my music via earphones, and people watching outside the door. The gentleman and the lady who may be his wife are doing a great job! I will be returning very soon.

Absolutely one of the best breakfast spots in the neighborhood. The food was tasty. The price was reasonable for the portions offered. The service was GREAT. This is an African immigrant owned business; the service was awesome. The owner was very attentive and made us feel welcome and confortable. The seating outside on a warm morning is absolutely perfect. Will surly come back!

This French cafe is so cute. The barista was very sweet and very accommodating. Kudos to her! They have great drink options and the croissants are delicious! The cafe itself is so clean and inviting. I highly recommend this cafe. It is indeed a hidden gem in West Harlem that you definitely need to check out.

I've tried my hardest to support this spot but the poor understanding and will to cater to people who follow plant-based diet is very disappointing. They basically have two plant-based options on their menu, a fairly good quinoa salad and a small sandwich with hummus and barely any avocado for $12 (nowhere near worth that price.) Ultimately, the biggest problem is when they prepare the coffee with regular milk instead of oat milk, even when requested every single time I ordered. This is a big deal since I am highly allergic to dairy. Also, I am not sure the owner understands the gravity of this issue. I am giving two stars because the owner is friendly and two (out of three) ladies who work there give the best service you could expect at all times. This won't matter in the grand scheme of things but, I am certain this will no longer be my to-go place after being there 3 to 4 times a week for the past...

I moved to this neighborhood approximately six months ago and quickly fell in love with their amazing French toast, which became a weekend ritual for me. What made it even better was the pet-friendly policy, allowing me to bring my 10 lb dog along.

During the spring and summer months, the place was welcoming to pups, but I was disappointed to find out that as we transitioned into autumn and winter, the pet-friendly policy was discontinued. On my recent visit for takeout, I felt unwelcome and as if I were inconveniencing others simply because I had my dog with me.

While I respect that not everyone may appreciate dogs in public establishments, a sudden change in policy that caters to a specific demographic while excluding others doesn’t seem like a good business decision. Regrettably, this experience has led me to decide against returning to this...

I’m in love with this place. I had lunch here yesterday and brunch today and both meals were so perfect and delicious. I had the quinoa salad for lunch and it was so flavorful and perfectly dressed. For brunch I had the croque madame and it was soooo good. The bread was just the right amount of toasted, the sunny side up egg was cooked just right, too. What’s more, the owner was very warm and friendly with us. We had a wonderful conversation with us that ended up being a history lesson on Africa! He is so knowledgeable and knows 21 languages! I will definitely keep coming back. Come for the dope food, stay for the conversations. I’d give it more...
