Updated review: what in the world happened to this place. It wasn’t the best but food was edible. I ordered delivery today and got chicken tenders that were RAW in the center. And medium rare burger? RAW. It’s essentially a chunk of tartare in the center. This is not medium rare. Though meat can be served tartare under really strict guidelines, chicken can NOT be rare. Horrible, just horrible. Dept of Health needs to be informed.

Previous review: Not really a cafe, more like a diner. From the burgers to challah French toast to gyros to French fries, egg creams, desserts, etc., it's a diner. Anyone familiar with a NY diner is familiar with the particular taste and offerings of diner fare. It’s not the best, it’s adequate yet strangely satisfying and there’s a lot of choices on the menu and you expect to feel those arteries hardening. I ordered through Grubhub a burger but actually received a deluxe. Thanks! Good burger and fries (the pickle too!). I will definitely order again. My one complaint though - please set the promised delivery times more accurately. A few restaurants that are close to me (like this one) sends me a text almost immediately after an order is made that “food deliverer is on the way!” There’s just no way delivery will be in 15-25 minutes. Meanwhile even Grubhub is notifying me “you should’ve received the delivery by now,” though I haven’t. I start to think I’m getting shafted and looking to get a refund from Grubhub. So actual delivery was closer to...

Those guys are savages!!!

I ordered online. I waited more than one hour and no one showed up. So I called them and surprise: No one did made my food. The employee on the phone didn't even apologized. I waited more than one hour for nothing. Since I already paid online, I repeated my order on the phone.

When the delivery guy finally showed up. No "Hello" or "Sorry for this incident". The only thing he said was "$15! Pay $15!". I told him that I already paid online and he left.

(A NORMAL business would apology and do a gesture like a free drink or anything... At this place, they have ZERO customer skills.)

Then less than 1mn later, the delivery guy knocked at my door again. This time said that I didn't pay and I have to pay him. I lost it! He was on the phone with the "restaurant" and I told to the guy on the phone that I already paid online. I also reminded him the incident.

Then the delivery guy left.

This is the last time I order...

I started going here a few months ago even though the service is poor, but barely adequate. The place is right downstairs and the price is right. The female manager Sunday morning is right out of a horror movie. My wife and I arrived early as only two other diners were there. The waitress/manager took far more time to take our order even though she was just chatting with another employee. She would always be running off before the order was even given.Then when the food arrived, no jam or butter for the toast was given and no Orange juice nor water was given! When i asked her what was going on, she responded by saying that we don't give enough of a tip!! We always leave at least 15% even with the poor service! Always!

Either she doesn't know how to calculate basic math or she just doesn't care. We summarily left without making a scene but will NEVER go back. I recommend anyone to stay away from this...
