If it wasn’t for the fact that the bartender was charming, attentive and fast, and his name is Marco, so let me start from the very beginning in the menu. It reads Kevin Assar chicken salad, which means the salad already has chicken. I get the bell and they charge me four dollars extra for the chicken.

Now I have to fight with the manager to get the four dollars back and she takes her time which is insane, bartender is four dollars out of his pocket to take care of me.

Not necessary that should be a management problem. At least the manager also does not tell the customer or anybody at the bar they charge you and transaction fee which should be listed on the menu, so anyone who goes there has a choice to either pay or not pay for service render because they charge for credit card, which is , they’re stealing from here without telling you and I’m a New Yorker and if you’re gonna charge me you need to tell me upfront in the verb beginning you’re serving me. I will never be back there again and I feel sorry for Marco who has the working...

My fiancé and I stumbled upon Reilly's on our last night in the city and discovered it was pretty much brand new, only 3 weeks open! We were immediately welcomed by a fantastic team of wait staff and we were even personally greeted by lovely Irishman Bernie who showed us to our table. There was a great selection of reasonably priced beers on offer and the food was really tasty too. We had the wings to share and a burger each - the shoestring fries were delicious! We both indulged in a dessert for afters and with two drinks each the total bill was under $100 which for this city and the quality of the food on offer we were pleasantly surprised with. Special mention to Ruth who looked after our table superbly and also recommended some great spots in the city for us to visit on our last day. Overall this place was excellent and we will definitely be recommending it to friends who are visiting later...

We were greeted as we sat down but then it took nearly 10 minutes for someone to come back to take our order. There was a bartender near by us pouring a guinness (we were sat at the bar) and he was avoiding eye contact with us, it was weird. Eventually we were served by a friendly bartender but then she never came back. Like we never saw her again at all.

While we sat at the bar we listened to one of the bartenders complain the entire time. Saying things about the other guests not liking the beverage that she made and being inconvenienced to have to make something else. She talked about them poorly in length. Then made comments about how it would be nice if guests stopped coming in the door. Just had a terrible attitude and we were right in front of her.

They auto grat here and don’t provide an itemized receipt. Really shady business practice.

We left and went elsewhere....

A crowded Saturday at Rockefeller, we escaped to the festive downstairs of REILLYS, where Manager Joe seated us immediately and took Top Notch care of us girls! It was the Cherry on top of a Perfect Day!! EVERY food item was magnificent, the EGG NOG was fantastic, (I am an egg nog snob!). The service was impeccable, Manager Joe had the staff buzzing and delivering drinks right on time! Lemon drop shooters were frothy and The best (again, we are Old School!!) 4 perfectly crafted Dirty Martinis started us off, and the Espresso and Chocolate Martinis (pictured), were the perfect dessert. “Anything” as Manager Joe stated, was his pick on the menu, and he turned out to tell the truth, including the Cocktails! Thank You Joe! Stacey Linda Mindy Jan!! Merry Christmas!

Great new place with genuinely wonderful and authentically friendly staff. Here are my brewer takes on some of the fine house beers of this establishment: Winter Ale (Seasonal): If you are passionate about creative beer you ~must~ stop here for this. Flavorful, sweet, malty, yummy, fun. Like a Christmas cookie with a thin (tiny) strip of black licorice On top. Christmas Ale (Seasonal): Light, simple, a touch of sour. Lager: The epitome of a light session beer. Simple, crisp, maybe even dry(?) Wheat: Straightforward wheat, nothing too yeasty, easy drinking IPA: floral, sessionable, light citrus, minimal bitterness (for an IPA)

I swung by Reilly's to escape from the hustle and bustle of Rockefeller Center. Reilly's is a fantastic Irish pub with plenty of seating and a proper bar towards the back. Also bonus points for a powerful AC! 😁 The folks here were extremely welcoming and friendly. I was greeted immediately after walking in. That goes a long way! For lunch I ordered "The Gobbler" which is, you guessed it, a turkey wrap with veggies and apple wood bacon! 🥓 I washed it down with a perfectly poured Guinness! 🍺 Overall a fantastic pub which I highly recommend if you're in the Rockefeller Center area!
