Saltwater is a true gem in new york for coffee and drink lovers alike! Located in the heart of the east village, their coffee is bold and well balanced, roasted and shipped fresh from Sydney. It is a small shop with some seating ( for those who want to use the free wifi and stop for quick bite) and the space is inviting and designed with a tasteful minimalist design aesthetic. There is a genuine and community feel to this shop and you are always met with warm and friendly staff.

The woman behind me asked for iced coffee and they told her that they were out of that, kind of weird to be out of iced coffee at 2:00 in the afternoon when all they sell is coffee. Overall i’d go somewhere else. I reached out to them via Instagram to no avail, probably because they have no rebuttal to my claims. They shouldn’t expect people to pay their rent for them and for them to have the audacity to ask for a tip on top of that...
