Went here for my birthday brunch and did not have a good expierence! I had a large party so we had a prefix menu. Where do I begin... the service was extremely slow. It was a Saturday and they were clearly understaffed. I was seated downstairs in the lounge area because we wanted hookah. The hookah was ok... they only offer two flavors and it was 40$ and 25$ for refill.
I was told there was a Dj that is a lie it was a YouTube Playlist with ads! Most of my party chose a unlimited drink option however it was not worth it because there was only one bartender upstairs so the drinks took extremely long to come. We asked for water pitchers and also waited a long time and when they came it would only be 1 for 13 people! Oh I also found out they do not have any top shelf liquor. All the cocktails are made with cheap liquor.
Food: apps were served family style I had Mozzarella sticks(good) guacamole and chips (ok) , empanadas (was supposed to be 3 flavors cheese, chicken and chop cheese however we only received chicken and the cheese option they both were dry). The last option was chicken egg rolls however apparently they ran out so they substituted with calamari. I don't eat seafood but they didn't look great either. On to the entrée I had a burger and it was not good. It literally looked like a school cafeteria burger. It also was missing the lettuce and tomato as noted on the menu. A few of my guests had the mangu which I tasted and was ok at best. The chicken and waffles were sad the chicken looked like frozen chicken fingers and they didn't even bring syrup for the waffles. Two of my friends came late and were not part of the prefix they had steak and eggs, avocado toast and dumplings all of which they stated was not good. I reached out to the owner with my concerns and have yet to hear back.
This place has potential to be a cool spot however right now I would definitely NOT recommend. We ended up going to Don pancho nearby which was great and I wish we had just gone there to begin with. They had an actual dj, the hookah was better as well as the service. My friends ordered tacos which they...

I’ve never been so disappointed with a dining experience, especially considering the special occasion. We made reservations well in advance and even called on the day of to confirm everything was set. They assured us there wouldn’t be any issues. However, upon arriving, we were told that no reservation had been made for us.
To make matters worse, we were seated separately, which was incredibly inconvenient for a birthday brunch that we had all come together for friends & family members traveling from different states and countries. The food arrived nearly 40-50 minutes later, which is beyond frustrating, especially considering the brunch is "timed" from when you're seated. That meant we lost out on valuable time and were rushed through what should’ve been a relaxed, enjoyable meal.
And if that wasn't enough, we were kicked out without being advised that the brunch was timed for only 90 minutes. This lack of communication made the situation even worse. We were not told about the time limit when we made the reservation or when we arrived, and we were treated poorly as a result.
The staff was downright rude, and when we requested to speak to the owner about our experience, all we got was a manager with a terrible attitude. It's beyond unacceptable for a place that prides itself on quality service to treat customers this way.
This was supposed to be a joyful celebration for my sister, and instead, it turned into an incredibly stressful, disappointing experience. No one was able to enjoy themselves, and we left feeling disrespected and unheard. I would strongly advise against dining here, especially if you're planning a special occasion. The lack of professionalism, the rude staff, and the overall poor management have made it impossible to recommend this place to anyone.
I would however, recommend Jose as your server as the food was decent and he maintained...
Read moreWalking into SAVOI Latin Bistro was an absolute treat—this place is stunning! The aesthetics are unmatched, with gorgeous murals throughout the two-level restaurant (yes, they have both an upstairs and a downstairs). The atmosphere is vibrant, chic, and perfect for a brunch or night out.
Juan was our server, and he was fantastic! He made sure we were taken care of at all times, even when the restaurant got busy. He gave excellent recommendations, checked in on us frequently, and truly elevated the experience. For me, great service is just as important as great food, and Juan nailed it.
We started with the sweet Thai chili and buffalo chicken wings, and they were absolutely delicious. For drinks, I had a creamy espresso martini that was perfectly balanced and strong—just how I like it! My friend ordered a raspberry lemon drop, which was equally amazing.
For brunch, we had the vanilla and red velvet chicken and waffles, and they were so good—fluffy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. To finish, we shared the dulce de leche tres leches for dessert, which was the perfect ending to an incredible meal.
One thing to note is that they offer professional photos at the restaurant, and the photographer is excellent. She knows all the right angles to capture your moment. Photos are $20 each, with tax added if you pay by card.
Overall, my experience at SAVOI Latin Bistro was exceptional. Whether you’re in Queens or visiting New York, I highly recommend checking this place out. The food, drinks, ambiance, and service were all top-notch.
