I live in the area and have been going to Andreas since they opened for the food and happy hour deals they have. Unfortunately, yesterday I had a very bad experience with the waitress Michelle and the server (don't know his name) or usual waitress DIANA (I believe is her name she is the best!) was away. Anyhow, when we arrived at about 6pm the place was really hot so we asked Michelle if we could open the windows since we were at the table in the front of the restaurant but she would turn heater off which was fine it got cool pretty quick, she then came to our table with the menus, my family and I a party of six ordered our food and I attempted to order a margarita and Michelle stopped and said to et her put the food order in first and then she would come back to get the drink order- I found that odd because at any restaurant drink orders are done first... after about 15 minutes or so she comes back and takes our drink. My family got our usual margarita and some got mojitos those are part of the happy hour specials. My family and I continued conversating, I look at the bar and I tell my family these drinks are taking really long to come out (mind you the place was empty like most of the week days me and family go). We continue to wait when i look at the bar again and Michelle is taking pictures of the drinks we ordered like we weren't waiting for 30-40 minutes. The drinks literally came at the same time the food came out. I told the waitress the drinks are beautiful but this is why drink orders are taken at the beginning because now it's difficult to eat and drink at the same time. My family were hungry so we ate. After about another hour, an finally finishing my drink we asked for the check... after Michelle ignoring us and checking in on us. When we get the bill Michelle charged us regular price for the happy hour drinks that were suppose to be $9.00 the whole day as they has advertised by the bag and at the front of the restaurant. "All day Happy Hour" Margaritas, Mojitos etc $9.00. after a few more minutes of waiting (mind you the restaurant is still empty only about 2 ppl at the bar) we finally get Michelle's attention to discuss the bill. Michelle acts clueless and says she doesn't know anything about happy hour, so i told her look at the sign at the bar and sign in front of the restaurant. We explained to her that we're regulars and we're usually charged $9.00 for classic flavor margarita or mojito and additional $2.00 if we want a flavor. So she goes back to the bar registers, and after more waiting she's on the phone with the owner, comes back to our table to let us know that promotion is only for the Bronx location and that only classic flavor were apart of the happy hour- so i asked a waitress when did you explain that to us... you didn't even know it was happy hour. The whole time we're there Michelle's attitude was ridiculous and I got fed up and I told her you know something that has been the worst service we've had here and as a reminder we're regulars that are usually a party of 6-8 ppl and you're really rude and we're not going to want to come back. And i asked Michelle to please pass me the phone because the owner needed to know how we were treated since we walked in. After more waiting... the owner I guessed called back and Michelle had the server bring me the business phone. Cynthia the owner explained that the usual waitress DIANA would be getting fired because the additional $2.00 flavor drinks is not a special for the happy hour. I told Cynthia that's not something she should be telling a customer that I wanted to speak with her about my experience today, so I went on and explained everything I wrote on here from beginning to end. Cynthia continued mentioning to me the firing of DIANA- and i explained to her that she needs to fire the waitress and server that took care of us today. to be continued.. exceeding characters. see photo for...

Andrea's Chicken 2 in Williamsburg.

Reservation at 5:30 PM. Meals ordered at 5:45 PM. Food served at 6:02 PM

Meals ordered: Lomo Saltado (2×) with 1 red beans. Pollo Combo Special with white rice & black beans + side order of fries. -Tostones as side, not appetizer.

Drinks ordered: Canned Cokes Heineken Moscato Ice Water

Music was a bit loud in the restaurant.

The food was hot, fresh, and delicious. The servers we attentive and kind. The atmosphere was lovely. The tables are set nicely. The art and scheme are Peruvian and fetching. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for an authentic and delicious experience. Garlice Sauce (green) served with roasted corn chips was absolutely delicious with the hot tostones. The sauce (pale green/white) served with tostones was very acidic and I did not enjoy it as much as the green Garlic Sauce. The tostones were so delicious, but I have to admit that they were slightly overcooked, and greasy. I feel like if they were smashed slightly less before frying, they would be thicker, and would be just about perfect.

All three people eating had no other complaints.

All of the food was flavorful, well-seasoned, and so delicious. We will absolutely visit...

Very cute atmosphere and overall resturant. Staff was friendly and even though I came very early before my party could make it, they allowed me to sit early. Though this is advertised as a Peruvian and Mexican spot, I find the menu options lean a little more Mexican, though don't sleep on the Lomo Saltado.

Overall, I enjoyed this spot. The only reason why it gets 4 stars from me is when I got the bill I saw this addition weird fee that wasn't tax or their added gratuity fee. I forget the name of it, but it was like a "processing fee" and I'm not gonna lie, it kinda ticked me off. It felt like I ate a meal and Ticketmaster was trying to scam me.

Take that as you will. It doesn't take away from the lovely staff, but that extra fee on that receipt was very uncalled for, especially when the gratuity is already included in the bill for a party of 6. I've never seen any other restaurant do that before.

**Note I didn't get a pic of the Lomo Saltado, it was my friends dish. I ordered a...

Great food but TERRIBLE service. Went here for brunch, me and my partner sat at our table and waited for about 20 minutes before the server came to offer us drinks. Half an hour later came back to ask what we'd like to eat. We stayed at this place for a while, our second round of drinks took about an hour to get to our table. AND they added $20 tip to our bill, I don't like to be forced to give tips, specially IF THE SERVICE SUCKED. I love giving good tips when I get a good service, but this type of service was the worst I've gotten in NYC. Service is VERY slow at this place and the servers are not polite/kind, not worth the waiting, they look like they dont even want to be there! I'd suggest BABY BRAZA or MACHU PICCHU restaurant instead. Save yourself the wait. They have delicious food and wait time is MUCH LESS. Definitely NOT WORTH IT.
