Si n'shpi — Restaurant in New York

My family had no clue there's a growing Albanian community in this neighborhood. There were other Albanian restaurant but we chose to dine here as it seemed to be a busier restaurant. There were plenty of outdoor/covered dining tables but we decided to head indoor as it was quite packed when we're there. The restaurant do have nice decor for both dining areas.

Food: Tasty food with appropriate amount of seasoning. The spices used were mild IMO as it let the meat dishes flavor to shine by itself. The mixed meat platter was pretty good.

Service: The staff were welcoming, friendly and helped us order as we're unfamiliar with Albanian food. However, they're not too attentive with refilling empty water bottle and discarded our leftover complimentary bread which we had requested to pack together with our half eaten beef prosciutto pizza.

Ambience: Outdoor seating area is modern and have a festive vibe. Indoor is bright, elegant with classic European designs.

Overall: Will definitely come back if I'm in the neighborhood or have out of town guests who are adventurous. Prices are reasonable too. So please go support small...

I usually never write a review but attention to everyone who goes here to eat or have a private event, the owner or manager will cheat you as much as they can make sure you look at the receipt. I’m disgusted how people have lost of humanity, honesty And integrity. I had my moms bday and I’m sorry I had it there to start with. First of all they charge 80$ for a cheap store wine 15$-20$ Which I didn’t complain bc I should have asked, the food was okay even tho we had to wait for 2 hours and they stuffed the plates mostly with chicken breast and 1 slice of meat, I was embarrassed. At the end when I received the bill the owner charged me 75 sodas for 15 people and we didn’t even drink 5 sodas in total. When I asked him why he said it’s on the table, for a table with 15 people he charged 75 sodas, 10 bottles of water, 10 beers and 4 wines. It’s not physically possible that 15 middle age ladies had all those drinks in 3 hours as well as this amount will be noticed if set on a regular dining table for 15 people who would empty 100+ bottles and cans for 3 hours. This place should be shut down. Shame...

First of all, the main course came one by one, by the time the last dish came the first 2-3 plates were done. Aecon we ordered a mix meat plate, one of the meats was old and it tasted bad, potatoes you can tell by looking at them that they were old, not fresh made, they were even cold and tasteless. Tava beans with dry meat was terrible, this is my second time, worst beans that I ever had, sorry I didn't take a pictures but also you can tell by looking at it. When I told the server, he said I'm just a waiter but I will tell them about it. No one came back to talk to us, even the water didn't say anything and we were charged for everything, including for that beans worst soup which I took only a spoon from it. WORST FOOD AND SERVICE, DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY...
