Disappointing Experience at Palmyra. I recently visited Palmyra with my family on January 14 enticed by the notification that they were offering free Plov and somsa. While I was eager to support a local establishment, my experience left much to be desired.
The major letdown began with the disorganization of the waitstaff. I had to repeatedly request that our table be cleaned, and the service overall lacked the efficiency I expected. Unfortunately, my disappointment continued when I ordered Kabob and received it cold, as if it had just been taken from the fridge. Despite the oversight, I chose not to address it immediately and continued ordering meals and drinks for my family.
In addition to the cold Kabob, the service did not meet my expectations despite paying a generous tip of $30 and for the meal around $50 for three people. When I requested tea, I was informed that there was no hot water available, and we would have to wait. This added to the overall dissatisfaction with the dining experience.
The pinnacle of disappointment was the Plov, the main attraction for our visit. Regrettably, the rice was not cooked well, leaving us unable to enjoy this supposedly complimentary dish. I paid for the meal thinking I could take it to go, but I was advised that it was not possible.Consequently, my family and I decided to wait for available seats In summary,Palmyra needs to significantly improve its organizational skills and overall service quality.
I would rate my experience at Palmyra 2 out of 5 stars. I hope this review serves as constructive feedback for the establishment to enhance its offerings and provide a more satisfying dining experience for...
Read moreI would like to share my experience with Palmyra Restaurant. Unfortunately, my initial encounter was far from positive.
Upon noticing their post on Instagram, I decided to explore the offerings of the restaurant. However, I faced difficulties in reading the text displayed on their promotional material. Instead of treating my comments as constructive criticism, the restaurant staff responded aggressively and unprofessionally.
When I pointed out that the text was poorly visible, the employees became defensive, denying the issue. Rather than showing understanding and a willingness to improve the situation, they chose to reply aggressively and even suggested I visit an eye doctor.
Such an approach to customer feedback, especially in open media, undermines trust in the establishment. Restaurants should remember that customer opinions matter, and their attitude towards customers should be professional and respectful.
My experience with Palmyra Restaurant was disappointing, and I am considering exploring other venues where customers are valued, and their opinions...
