We bought a 6" ice cream cake. The ice cream tasted fine, but the cake was less than 1&1/2 inches thick/ Not much thicker than a deep dish fruit pie and cost $28!! It came with a yellow plastic Happy Birthday plastic ring & cluster of plastic balloons, & Bubby was written on a pink circle with colored dots all around on something that looked plastic, but was edible. This would have been perfect for a 6 y/o girl, not a grandparent. I've bought many kosher ice cream cakes for my children & grandchildren, and they were never inexpensive. However, I never felt the need to call the store to see if I'd been accidentally over charged. Although the ice cream was tasty, I will never buy another ice cream cake...
Read moreThe gentleman that served us was quick and polite. However the men who seemed to be the owners of the place were absolutely and utmost rude and disrespectful. When we walked into the place they looked at us and didn't even greet us. And then when we were paying for what we got he didn't bother to make eye contact or even say so much as a "Your welcome" when we thanked him. The ice cream wasn't so bad but I couldn't even enjoy it because I was sick to my stomach with how disgusting the owners treated us. It's the 21st century, if I want to eat kosher ice cream I shouldn't have to feel uncomfortable doing so. NEVER RETURNING TO THIS...
Read moreI've been here a couple of time. On multiple occasions the manager was rude. I decided to give them one final chance tonight and ordered a "no doze shake" (a coffee milkshake with a shot of espresso). It was NOT a coffee milkshake. They made it with vanilla ice-cream and no coffee! Who makes a coffee milkshake with vanilla ice-cream??? And they charge $8.75 for a lg milkshake! Sadly, my final try was a disappointment and I will not be returning. Note to owners: If you want to charge high prices for your products you better make sure your products are worth those high prices.
