I've been coming to this Starbucks frequently for 4 years now, and I originally had this place at 5 stars. However I've noticed a decline in quality of service recently. In the last few months alone, I've had quite a few not-so-good experiences.
First, I had ordered a hot drink through mobile order, and arrived at the place less than 10 minutes later. When I got there, my drink was surprisingly already ready (it was definitely mine, it was my exact name and order on the label), so I took a sip before leaving. Somehow, the coffee was not hot (room temp) and also tasted burnt. I notified the Barista and he just stared at me blankly for a few seconds before taking my coffee and going to make me another one. It took him a few minutes to make the new one, and he never said a word to me throughout the whole exchange.
A few weeks after that, there was a buy one get one free happy hour, so I got a hot chocolate for me and my friend through mobile order. It took about 15 minutes to make the first one, which is okay because it was a little busy. But then it took another 20 minutes to get the second hot chocolate, which was part of the same order. It took another 20 minutes despite frequent reminders and showing proof that I had ordered two. My friend and I didn't have anywhere to be and we're just hanging out at one of the tables there, so it wasn't a major inconvenience, but still - 35 minutes for a hot chocolate?? That's a little ridiculous.
This last incident is what really motivated me to change my review. Last week, I ordered a hot coffee with 1% milk. I was waiting for it for close to 20 minutes, and was standing near where they make the coffee. I hear one of the baristas say to another, "1% milk? What idiot gets 1% milk? Might as well just put nothing in it." The other barista chuckled, and then the barista that made the comment called out my name. He looked shocked when he realized that I was standing right infront of him. I took my coffee, said, "Yeah, thanks," and left. I didn't want to get into a fight over milk.
I don't know what's up with the attitude of the staff they...
Read moreIf I could give it ZERO stars, I would, but Google doesn’t allow that, you have to put atleast 1 star. My experience with this Starbucks was horrible. I happily made an Uber Eats order with this Starbucks location. My order comes and right away I see something wrong. The bag, yet having a sticker loosely on it, is wipe open. The contents inside consists of a sandwich bag that is wide open, it is not taped shut or even folded shut. The flimsy paper bag my sandwich is in is standing straight up, open to any elements like dust in the drivers car or even outside dust if the uber driver used a bike. I found the way how my food was packaged to be careless, they just threw it in the bag and didn’t care to properly conceal my food for sanitary health reasons. I didn’t eat it. I asked ubereats for my money back. I hope this post makes this Starbucks put more care into packing the food better for safe sanitary delivery. They could have stapled or taped the bag shut better. I have gotten McDonald meals doordashed to me that were impressively sealed shut. I would expect more from a high class expensive coffee shop like Starbucks. The only thing that was covered properly in my bag was my drink, and that’s the only thing I consumed. I waited a long time for my order, just for it to come and I couldn’t enjoy it, I threw it away due to a Starbucks clerk’s carelessness. I was very...
Read moreYesterday I went to this location to buy drinks for my coworkers as we are all addicted to Starbucks. However with the constant change in staff now at this location service is very bad. I have being working in the area over 15 years. Now is the worst I have seen this Starbucks. One of the new barrister Shanice needs to be retrained first in people skills then to making drinks. I had a vile confrontation with her yesterday. This is not the first time. I even have photos of the drinks she made for me that were horrid. I had to tell her I am not begging her I spend my money on any given I spend at least thirty to fifty dollars. It doesn’t make any sense speaking to the higher ups because it goes on deaf ears. This use to be my favorite Starbucks. We used to meet there early Saturday morning for our coffee club. We would catch up on the past week talk about the weekend plans and the week ahead. It was so exciting to be there. Today everyone complains about how it has become. I miss the...
