Starbucks — Restaurant in New York

Walked in to ask about allowing my 6 year old to use the restroom and was told i had to buy something for the code, i told them i just made a purchase in another starbucks (which i actually did and i also get doesnt help them but i mentioned it just to show im actually a customer and it was just bad timing. I was told no it doesnt matter you have to purchase something here. Theres some 4 dollar cookies over there you can buy. I said im not buying anything thats ridiculous and asked for the store manager which apparently the person i was speaking to was the store manager. Listen i get “store policies” and whatever. I also understand that they DONT have to let me use their restroom ive worked customer service and food service and understand all of that. But Something simple as letting a 6 year old use the rest room is human decency ESPECIALLY in 90 degree weather when theres like nothing else around. It shows how customer friendly or kid...

The ambiance is decent and this Starbucks looked inviting tonight on a cold night. I was a little irritated by the loud volume of the music but not enough to write a review. This is a coffee shop right - and not a dance club?

A half hour before the 8 pm closing time, a blonde lady marched up to me and informed me that whatever area I was in was now closed and then added: "So you need to pack up and go." That's the sort of thing you say to someone that stays well after closing time and who has already been given a friendly warning that the place is closing in fifteen minutes or so ---- or to someone who is being disruptive/inappropriate. I was sitting quietly alone. So I'm not surprised by all the bad reviews about 'attitude'...

I rarely gave bad reviews unless the service is really bad. The black lady was so grumpy when taking my order ( sorry I couldn’t see her name). But thats okay as long as I get my drink. Everyone has bad days, I get it. I ordered a drink then she asked “hot?” I said “no, cold please”. She still gave me a hot drink. When I requested an exchange, she gave me an attitude and kept insisting that I said “yes” when she asked me if I wanted it hot. When did I say yes?? If I said yes, why would I mentioned “cold”? If you don’t hear my answer, you should have asked one more time. You just don’t care and want to get it over with. I don’t need you to be all smiley but at least don’t treat your customers like they own...
