On 2/20/19 at 12:45 I walked into this location to grab a smoothie and was met by two of the rudest employees. This was my first time going into a GNC there were three girls of them in the shop, talking amongst themselves and the store was empty. I had been deciding on a smoothie for lunch and was asking questions inquiring about the different smoothies & their sizes. Apparently this was a problem for the girl (didn't get her name, but she was wearing a hijab) who had to end her conversation with her co-workers and walk over to the smoothie bar because her demeanor was less than acceptable, sighing, rolling her eyes and being short with me as I asked questions. I wasn't being rude with the girl, I just had inquiries. Then when checking out the girl (Nicole C.) ringing me up was extremely rude as well, I was requesting an email copy of my receipt and cancelled out my request and printed it rolling her eyes at me and handing me the receipt I didn't want. I don't know who the manager of this store is, but you need to speak to evaluate the employees you had working at the time mentioned above. Perhaps they didn't like that I was a MOS in uniform, but that shouldn't have been an issue or perhaps it was that it's snowing out and they didn't want to work. However it's their job and how they acted was extremely unprofessional. These girls I guess just wanted to be idolent and not do their job. Don't waste your time going to GNC...not worth it there's a deli around the corner " Monte grab and go" that makes smoothies and have food I suggest you go there and you won't be disappointed by...

However, i have been experiencing not the best customer service by the two ladies who make the smoothies in the back. On numerous occasions i have been met with attitude and terrible customer service. i shop here everyday for a couple of years, along with recommendations to many co workers creating great cliental spending a lot of money and to treated like this is unacceptable. Today i called 20 mins prior to arrival as i do everyday, walked in asked if my order was ready , but was ignored and not given any response. shortly after a lady walked in inquired about her order and was given an immediate response. After she walked to the counter to pay is when the two ladies brought their attention to me when clearly i was there 1st and spoke to them but was ignored. the managers weren't there due to it being a weekend, but this issue will be brought to their attention immediately. this wasn't the 1st interaction, they don't greet you when you walk in , and often ignore you when you talk to them. Read moreI’m disappointed to have you give AZ one star, but I must share one of my rudest encounters at the Bronx location. When the owner is offsite, the older Indian woman in charge is absolutely horrible to encounter. On one occasion, she charged me twice for a bottle of hot honey, and when I pointed it out instantly, she gained an attitude denying she did. When she checked the screen, I was correct, and she brushed off that she was wrong, and her attitude switched back to neutral.
On this last occasion, I again noted I was charged extra for a smoothie and asked why, as I ALWAYS get the same smoothie. I explained my point and that I’d never been Charged additional before, and she rudely responded. Her tone and approach to the question, was simply rude, unwarranted. She was snarky and condescending and I’m Confident if the owner, Shan, who is always pleasant, accommodating and respectful, was onsite she would have NEVER responded that way.
