I am a Starbucks fan in every way. I spend way too much on Starbucks every month and no matter where I go, the service is usually consistent. Until today at Terminal C at La Guardia Airport. A worker behind the counter named Pamela was treating the other staff terribly. I ordered and the person at the cash register told me they were out of the item. Two more requests and they were out of those too. I finally chose something that was in stock. The cashier asked the woman, Pamela, a few questions and each time she snapped at him. Each response was ruder and ruder. I felt terrible for the cashier who was visibly embarrassed by her behavior and apologized quietly to me. I then watched her continue to speak to staff that way while I waited for my drink. I was so shocked because I never see this type of blatant rudeness at a counter of Starbucks. Someone needs to come here and either train this woman on basic communication skills…or fire her. I would fire her on the spot at my company. This behavior creates toxic work environments and horrible...

Wouldn’t normally waste my time reviewing a Starbucks but this one is especially disgusting. The employees don’t want to work, they were constantly talking to each other like clowns while the orders were coming out slowly. The girl at the register was busy talking to another employee when I was ordering. Surprisingly, she repeated my order correctly but they brought out the wrong thing anyway. When I let the guy know, he asked for my name, which the girl at the register never asked for. Finally, after around 13 min, he made the iced latte and it was terrible. Too much ice, too little coffee. Ended up throwing it away in the trash. That’s where this Starbucks location belongs, the trash. The only employee who seemed to be taking their job seriously was the new girl who seemed to be doing her best.
This was about 4pm the day I’m leaving this review, incase the manager is any more competent than the useless employees and wants to improve their terrible...
Read morethe Starbucks is great and spacious and really nice if you need to lounge around and drink some coffee while you wait for your flight. But that’s it. The staff lacks extreme sense of urgency, especially for an airport location. To have 3-4 people standing around while the cashier rings up a customer to make them a tea, is not efficient. It should be all hands on deck with the single priority of attending to the 17 people waiting in line… The staff will stand around and chat and be on their phone and have NO sense of urgency to get the line moving. Whoever manages this location at the airport really needs to consider a different...
