SteaMania — Restaurant in New York

Please note that I did not choose to eat here. I am currently eating at another restaurant a few feet away from it. The reason I am giving it a negative review is because of my first experience when I entered the door. No one greeted me right away and I said hi to one of the workers and he ignored me. A nice black man who I guess works there at least acknowledged my presence. I observed two white men come in behind me and the same white guy who did not respond to my hello immediately asked them if they needed a table for two. I'm just saying that if you are going to hire people make sure they greet everyone even if they think in their heads that they won't want to pay the price for the food they have there. There are a lot of restaurants on the Luna Park strip there, so it was hard to decide where to go. But we looked at the menu outside and chose Steamania. What a great decision, we had a terrific meal! I don't know if this place is all family owned, but it sure seemed like it; the service there was absolutely wonderful. The owner was kind to our kids and all the staff were very quick, attentive, and so warm to us. We weren't sure what to expect with the steam bags, but the food was excellent! We had fried calamari, the snow crab legs, XL shell shrimp, wine and virgin frozen drinks for the kids. The veggies that come with, are so yummy as well. The kids ate it all. This restaurant has a great friendly, family atmosphere, with delicious seafood. Thank you Steamania for a great dinner. We are definitely coming back here next time we visit...

THE GREATEST FRESHEST MOST DELICIOUS HEALTHIEST SEAFOOD I HAVE EVER ATE. Not only is this the only place I EVER heard that STEAMS their seafood and veggies, which is THE HEALTHIEST way, it is literally just the best seafood I have ever ever ever had.

From the amazing vibe of the place, the coolest owner who feels like family immediately upon entrance, this is the only place where I plan to come back to have seafood in America!!! You can taste the LOVE the food is made with. SO IMPRESSED!!!! THE food was hands down the most DEEELICIOUS!!!!!!!! The entire experience, so cleaver. Everything- all the details of the experience- so thought out. I can't wait to return. What a place, what a food.
