We tried the shrimp lo mein and the beef with broccoli with white rice—both dishes were incredibly fresh and flavorful. The spicy crunchy shrimp roll was a standout, perfectly balanced with just the right amount of heat.
For dessert, we splurged on the red velvet cake (yes, it’s $15), but it felt worth it—it was moist, rich, and clearly made fresh.
The only slightly odd thing was the ordering process. TAOXI uses a device at the table for placing orders, and while a helpful staff member kindly guided us through it (we were a bit technically challenged after a long moving day), we eventually got the hang of it and even used it to order dessert.
