You scream, I scream, we all scream for ice cream! While they do have their shop in Manhattan, it's a new ice cream shop that opened up recently in Brooklyn! It's a bright blue awning with cruff images on the doors and windows ( cruff= donut + ice cream in between) I first came in on a Wednesday evening, and there was a fair amount of people sitting and ordering. About a handful of seating really. Their menu was decorated on the wall with ice cream flavors to choose from and their options/ prices, and their paper menu had more details. So much more different flavors and toppings than a generic shop. Their midnight vanilla cone+red velvet ic+ mochi: Colors popped out and the taste of everything was good. It may have not been a normal combination but it worked for me haha, mochi was soft and chewy. Their Thai ice tea ic definitely was that taste, wouldn't mind getting it next time. While the cruff was what I initially wanted, they sold out around 8pm. Disappointing since they had signature ones and create your own types, they looked really great with their descriptions! However, it gave me a reason to come back. I believe the employees are still new/ training as I didn't get a napkin with our ice cream 😅 when my ic melted through the seams it looked like blood 🤣 Side note: their spoon for our ice cream...
Read moreThis is definitely going to be the new ice cream spot for the neighborhood. It's open now so I had a chance to try it today with my husband. There was one girl on staff and she's the real MVP since it's a one person show right now. Seriously if you stop by over the next few days come with a tip.
Very friendly, very clean and a lot of Asian inspired flavors like Thai Ice Tea, Vietnamese coffee, ube, durian, and black seaseme. There were also western style flavors like fruity pebbles, birthday cake, red velvet, and cookie monster. I went with violet white chocolate and it's with great reservation I'll share it's my new favorite ice cream flavor (save some for me!).
Prices are actually pretty competitive with Carvel right now so definitely consider stopping by. I tried their donut stuffed today. I know they usually use a different type at their flagship but today it was from Riminis which is pretty good, with fruity pebble topping it ran me $7.The color changing spoon was a nice touch. I expected a bit more ice cream but this seems to be a soft opening, and there was a rush of people that came in after us once they realized it was open so the pressure was on the one staff member. I expect in time it will fit the their "stuffed" moniker. All in all a great unique experience and I plan to be back...
Read moreCame across this cool ice-cream shop while driving. We were immediately drawn to the name of the place. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted. Inside is nice and bright and very spacious. I loved the decor of this place. There are two areas for you to sit and enjoy your ice cream.
There are plenty of interesting ice-cream flavors to choose from. The worker at this place let us sample any ice cream we wanted to try. The worker was super friendly and patient. Of course, we ordered the stuff ice cream. Which is ice cream placed in between a donut. They use a glazed donut and slice it right down the middle and put the ice cream in between the donut with any toppings you may want. The ice cream is delicious, but the glazed donut itself is delicious. The donut is nice and fresh.
I sampled the red velvet ice cream that was delicious. The cones look really good as well. There are plenty of ice-cream options here, from flavors, different cone options, milkshakes, ice-cream cakes, and plenty of toppings.
This place is great for adults and for family outings with the kids. Overall, I had an amazing experience here. Friendly and helpful staff and the place is kept clean. I will definitely...
