🐊 Only have 1 day to explore the Everglades? I gotchuuuu 👇 1️⃣ Get to Ernest F. Coe Visitor’s Center in Homestead as soon as it opens (8am or 9am depending on time of year) 2️⃣ Explore the beautiful Anhinga Trail boardwalk (0.8 miles) 3️⃣ Drive around and explore a few more trails in the area (Pinelands Trail, Pay-hay-okee Lookout, Mahogany Trail) 4️⃣ Start your 1-1.5 hour drive up to your airboat tour. (Grab lunch on the way at By Brothers, Farmhouse Miami, or Taqueria Cinco Hermanos Food Truck.) I’ve taken 3 airboat tours and Everglades Airboat Expeditions is hands-down my favorite. @everglades_expeditions 5️⃣ Head to Shark Valley and take their 2 hour tram tour. Super informative and we saw tons of animals! *We decided to skip the southern-most areas around the Flamingo Visitors Center so that we could make the most of our 1 day! If you have 2 days, you can definitely add this on to activites 1-3 and save 4-5 for the second day!
