Taquitos Mexico — Restaurant in New York

amazing food and very tasty. Best mexican food i have ever had. However with their service, they arent the best. First, they do not give you forks and napkins unless asked! Second, no water also unless asked. Third, they do not clean up your plates until very end when the check comes. Also, I had an unpleasant experience with one of the workers. They made a mistake with my order and gave me the wrong order ( I thought no big deal, ill just mention and get what I originally ordered. )As soon as I did that the waitress we had, brought another worker who gave me an attitude and argued with me. I explained this was not what I ordered and I told him what I originally ordered and I did not eat beef. I asked for the dish I originally wanted and he mentioned that it comes with shrimp (it does not say that on the menu) I mentioned that I would like to change the protein because I am allergic to shell fish and would like if possible chicken or no meat. Again, I got an attitude. I did get my original order correct and fast. It was tasty but not worth the attitude from workers. I recommend this place for food but be aware from attitudes you may encounter...

I visited Taquitos Mexico on Avenue X in Brooklyn, and unfortunately my experience was disappointing. I ordered birria tacos expecting them to be rich and flavorful, but they had no cheese, no seasoning, and very little taste. The consommé came without a spoon, so I couldn’t enjoy it properly.

I also ordered a shrimp cocktail and asked for Valentina or Cholula sauce, but it took a long time before it arrived. I even asked for cream with the chips and salsa (extra charge), but it wasn’t brought out until after I had already finished my main dish.

On top of that, I ordered chicken wings to go — and they never included them in my order. When I asked for the check, the waitress asked me to pay right away without showing me the bill first, which felt unprofessional.

The waitress herself was kind and sweet, but she clearly needs more experience or some extra help, because the service felt disorganized. Sadly, this was my third visit and each time I’ve left disappointed. I wanted to like this place, but the food and service just...

I'm torn leaving 1 star. The food was always top tier imo. That was before finding a sticker in the guacamole... I just raved about this restaurant to a cousin right as i was placing my order... I've never had (never noticed) an issue with the food until today.

I dont own a restaurant but no matter how i try, I can't imagine not properly preparing the food I'm serving to people supporting my establishment... Can someone explain how does the produce sticker get in my food... HOW!?!?!...

If yall are so careless to leave stickers from the produce in my food, it's very easy to imagine what else could've been done to mines and others food. The avocados aren't even organic, so not only was the sticker in my food, the wax and other preservatives sprayed on the avocado are in my food.

Shame on you all.... I'm calling call the better business bureau or whoever deals with restaurants. My stomach is already feeling funny while typing this. Even more interesting i can't post pictures on...
