Ginza Sushi — Restaurant in New York

I don’t know how this place has the reviews it did but that was unfortunately what catalyzed me to order from this place for delivery and it was a huge mistake. Majority of the food I got was ok, nothing to write home about but edible. But I felt outright scammed by the one roll I ordered. I sat there looking for 5 minutes straight at a supposed Alaskan roll having the palest salmon I’ve ever laid my eyes on, so pale I knew there was something off with it. And when I decided to take a bite of it against my best judgement, it was LOX! I have no idea what kind of joke this is, maybe they ran out of fresh salmon or something? But to put lox into a sushi roll it almost definitely feels like they intend to fool people ordering sushi into ordering their rolls and believing you’re getting fresh fish. Again parking can be an issue but they deliver. They have done some renovations to the place which were at one time overdue...bathroom, flooring, furniture. They have a wide selection of rolls and sashimi. In my experience they have been open to suggestions on new rolls. They offer something of a Happy Hour on sushi rolls but I cannot speak about that because I have never been there during those times. They also have a fusion menu for those who want to try something a little different. I have tried a salmon dish and a lamb dish from the fusion menu and liked them both. I went to order a few rolls, the price is affordable and they offered to me to stay inside to wait for order which is very nice of them but what throw me off the front desk or the owner who is taking the order rudely said to me TOO MUCH DETAILS(basically I was describing my order and they told me as a customer to shut up) this review is for this person who was taking the order. I understand we are all under stress, NY is under distinction BUT now it’s very important to treat each other with kindness. It is very disrespectful to speak to your clients in such a way.
