I went in to order a meal to go and was treated horrible by a supposed manager (blonde hair lady). I’ve been eating there for over thirty years and NEVER was treated so horrendous! The meal was supposed to come with two sides and a soup or salad. The rude manager stated it doesn’t come like that anymore. I informed her that last week we ordered it like such and she said oh well it changed. I asked her when did it change and she said “I don’t know, it just has”, “do you want it or not”. I informed her that I had to make a phone call to see if my mother still wanted it. Upon talking to my mother (on my cell), who said speak to a manager, and me requesting for such, the blonde haired woman shouted, “I am the manager”, when ai asked the counter guy to speak to one. I informed my mom that the woman stated she was the manager and as I was speaking to my mother, the blonde said rudely “I am the manager, why would I say I’m the manager, if I’m not”. I informed her that I was on my phone explaining things to my mother, and there was NO NEED for her to be disrespectful or nasty. She then started shouting (having the patrons stare), well you’re obviously looking for free food, so to accommodate you so you can go on your way, I will give you a free side. I informed her I had money to pay for whatever and didn’t need or want anything free, but wanted to make sure how the meal came, with my mom, who orders it weekly from there. Just as I was talking to the supposed rude manager and telling her that if she really was the manager, her attitude was bad for business, a young (crooked tooth) female worker came by where we were talking by the front counter and put her hand out in my face, yelling at me I was passed the line for customers. When I looked to my side, I saw the “do not pass sign”, that I wasn’t passed. I informed the low budget, ghetto acting server, to get her hands out of my face. She stated that I must have a problem reading since I wasn’t behind the line (which I was), and she needed to put her hands in my face so I would step back. I informed her she obviously didn’t know how to read, since I wasn’t passed the point of the sign. She started to curse me and make threats, so I invited her to go outside, which she replied, come back at 5pm and I will take care of you then. As this was going on, instead of the supposed blonde manager keeping her employee in check, she was talking about me to the young male kid who took my order, laughing and still saying I was looking for free food. I own my own business and never needed a handout. This place is horrendous and the workers I unfortunately encountered lacked decency or morals. Stay away from this low budget, average tasting diner. Both workers should be fired or reprimanded. How dare they act superior or like someone was looking for a handout, when they barely make a living wage serving others! I had more money on me then they probably make in a month and for them to try to mock me amongst the patrons, speaks volumes on just how low...
Read moreRude. Ordered food. Spent $50.00 on my order. Called them to inform they’re missing an item of my meal. The lady taking orders advised they would send it to me. 20mins go by I call back to get an update because at this point my food is getting cold. (I’ll add I’m 3 blocks away & didn’t pick up because I’m sick) A different lady picks up the phone and tells me it will go out when a driver comes back, I ask for an eta. She can’t give me one. At this point I as for a supervisor or manager and she tells me there isn’t one, but I can speak to the other lady. Then she proceeds to tell me that my best choice is a to continue to talk to her because the other lady will “curse me out” and tell me to wait. Like what?! Not sure who the owner is and what makes them think that behavior is ok but, this is unacceptable. Then to top it off they bring my missing item. The driver call and tells me your food is on the door and hangs up.
This is the last time I support this establishment. There’s better places with great customer service...
Read moreAs a lifelong diner enjoyer I was eager to try out a local favorite. Sadly, the experience was very disappointing. I was asked to please sit at a two top, which as a solo diner is completely reasonable, except that the restaurant was almost completely empty. Why did they need the table so badly? I wouldn’t have sat at a four top if they hadn’t said anything, I don’t know, just not very welcoming. I ordered a cheese burger, medium, with fries and a coffee. Coffee was pretty terrible even by diner standards but the burger was the biggest disappointment. Check the 2nd picture. That’s past mid well, nearly well done. Nothing was seasoned. No salt on the burger or fries. There’s salt on the table, sure, but that’s not an excuse to not season your food. The whole time I was eating, the server didn’t touch the table a single time. No water, no check in. Just asking me if I wanted the check when I was done. Don’t get me wrong, everyone was polite, but like I said. The restaurant was almost empty. Sorry folks, I know you...
