Booked a last minute appointment yesterday morning for a 6 pm haircut appointment. I arrive a little early and they took me right away after offering me a beverage. Luba sat me in her chair and spent a solid 10 minutes asking me about what kind of cut I was looking for, what I've gotten in the past etc. - it was so nice to have someone take the time to really understand what I want!!!

Throughout the whole appointment she was attentive not only to my hair but to me as well. We talked about so many things that the almost hour I was there went by like only a few minutes. She was super super personable and bubbly, I felt so comfortable! I have some grown out color and she took extra time to explain all of the different color options I have and the pros/cons of each. I never felt pressured to do it but I feel so comfortable with Luba and her skill, I made an appointment before I left for color tonight!

So let me begin by saying I tried to do my own hair at home but ended with greenish blues and yellows TWICE!! instead of the royal blue I was looking for. I showed up to Luba with a hot mess of hair and she was confident and understanding like she's dealt with it all before. My hair is now thanks to her still healthy, and the most beautiful shade of blue! I'm in love with my hair and Luba!! She made my dream come true and on top of that as if thats not enough shes a pleasure to work with!! Shes kind and professional and just an all around great person!! I'm actually looking forward to going back to get my roots done and will recommend her...

I’ve had my hair and makeup done probably around 50 times for weddings and events and I can honestly say my experience with Luba at Park Slope was one of the best. She did my hair and makeup for my baby shower. The scheduling process was super easy and on the day of she was kind and welcoming and listened to exactly what I wanted. She took her time and went above and beyond with making sure my hair would hold up on a humid rainy day.
