The Billiard Hideaway — Restaurant in New York

I like the place but the girl that was working at the bar was a bit rude ,we wanted to book for 3 pool tables she gave us 2 mind you it's 6 people all together she said if it gets busy I have to stop the game and use only one table. 35 minutes later, she told us to move because someone needs a table. Fine, we moved, and now we are left with one pool table, 6 ppl. Not even 20 min. Later, kids that took our table moved to a bigger table. Before you know it, 3 tables are empty, and here we are 6 ppl trying to play pool on one table. Hostess should at least ask you guys want to play on one of them or to apologize for kicking us out from the table, but nothing. She ended up charging me for a full hour even tho I was not there that long. Meanwhile, the boys that she gave the table to were just playing there betting who is going to win for money. It's a shame that these people need to learn how to accommodate a paying customer.She just didn't care...

For being some of the only pool halls around, this place adequately scratches the itch for billiards players of all skill levels. For all the years spending time here, there has always been a table available even at the peak. The staff have always been respectful and friendly. All good things, certainly a reliable location at an affordable rate.

I do, however, wish the tables would be re-felted from time to time, replaced some of the pool sticks, or even had darts available for the boards. You used to be able to play darts for free using house darts. Minor things to improve on, but would drastically increase the quality of each visit.

Great service, family ran and family oriented. Great place for anyone to hang and relax over a game of pool. Many different leagues and things to do. Besides shooting pool, they have multiple dart boards. Also they have over 100 different brands of beer. Cheap prices. Now they offer snacks too. Great internet jukebox. They are almost open everyday and night, select holidays too. Cue time also sells pool sticks, cases, and all accessories and even now they have dart equipment such as darts, flights, shafts, etc. I will come back here any time. I...
