No! Just no! Such a disappointing and miserable experience at the Met. They sell stock coffee and tea bag for the prices of luxury cafes. Croissants are bland and they can’t even warm them. Simple put this cafe is a tourist trap!

September 2025: Eugene and Augosto were very helpful Billy and her staff do a good job Reasonable prices for Manhattan

Overpriced menus. Ordered latte which is extremely hot. The baristas don’t know how to steam the milk properly. You have to wait long time to call it down. They don’t have espresso grinders. They using a packet or some sachet for their espresso shot. As a barista for 7 years this is unacceptable and nasty at the same time. Steam wand never wiped and not purging. I can’t imagine how much milks and bacterias are built inside. If you have allergies to dairy or any type of milk, don’t take a risk here. Cross contamination is 100% happening. $7 for 12 oz extra burnt latte is outrageous. Their workers looks stress and overworked. I just hope they got paid more than...

Came here for MET date night. I was really excited, so we came early at 5PM. When I inquired about the 2 for 1 drink special, the server told me to come back when it starts at 5:30. I came back at 5:30 and was charged full price. Really weird reaction from the staff when I asked about the special again, as they had given me the info themselves. At that point they had already poured me the drink and I don’t argue with service workers, so I took the L. Just an FYI it actually...

Dat Night at the MET feels like a cash grab. Dry, flavorless cupcakes and cocktails served in plastic shot glasses (2 for $18) hardly qualify as a ā€˜special.’ Do yourself a favor: bring your own dessert and a Stanley full of your own concoction cocktail but the vibe’s worth it of course. It is the...
