Big fan of this place.
Atmosphere is a composed of the same wood furniture and edison light bulbs you see at soe many hipstery spots, but it's very well balnced here. Day and night they have the perfect lighting.
Food is simple but great. The menu is made up of grilled sandwiches and a collection of fun sides. And the prices are agreeable. I either get one of the salads or a buffalo chicken sandwhich.
The drinks are just as well balanced and understated as everything else. They always have four decent and varied choices on draft (but I always get the Gaffel), and a decent bottles/can selection (but I always get the $4 Mexacali). There wines are bad or expensive either.
Great neighborhood spot. I've been coming here a lot this week waiting for my internet to get fixed. I came for the free wifi, I'll come back for the food, the drinks and the ambiance.

I’m editing this review after going there several more times.
The food is great. The sandwiches are tasty. I’ve made my own and had the brisket sandwich. Both are really good. The brisket sandwich is actually pretty incredible especially if you get the tomato soup and dip it. Soup is really good. They have the best tater tots I’ve ever had. I don’t know what brand they use or if they make their own but they are super crispy and the mince on the potato is so fine that they melt in mouth. Salad is also really good. As far as the price it’s pretty average at this point. (I guess I’m getting used to food inflation). I like that you can add extra sides to your meal for only $3 a piece. That’s a steal. The sandwiches already come with a side. I’m going to go back to try their entrees. The pasta looks...
Read moreFirst time eating at this place - ordered two vegetarian sandwich options off the menu (veggie patty melt and cheesy portobello) but instead we received two sandwiches that are clearly meat based. One appeared to be the short rib sandwich and the other had pancetta (maybe the panavia tornado?). In case, we weren’t able to eat any of it so it was a real disappointment after having waited an hour for it to arrive. I tried to call the restaurant multiple times - using the number provided on their website - to let them know about the issue but never got through to anyone. Calls went straight to an auto message saying that the voice mailbox was full. Currently trying to get a refund through Uber Eats, but I would not try this...
