Top City Gourmet — Restaurant in New York

I went last night to get a sándwich, as I always do. I customer that buy for me.and for my roomates. I asked for a union pool in a here bread, I saw the guy whi work at midnight putting the chicken salad over the stove, and I told him is it a could sándwich right ? And he said no with bad actitud . It was the first time I was about get that sándwich with a hot chicken salad... I told to the guys that nobody there make that sándwich that way. I told him I did not want that sándwich with the hot salad, and he just said the salad was already being hitted up. He did not wanted to make it as I said. Next acction he trowing salad i to the trash, really mad. Final was I could not get my sándwich . I won't get back...

I live upstairs and I've been going here for 2 years now nobody acknowledges me, not even a hello at the register. I don't need a red carpet, but a greeting would be nice. I ONLY come here for convenience and actually go out of my way if possible. If you want to pay lower east side manhattan prices and have complete a-holes at the cashier front, this is your place to go. For example, a 12 pack of white claws is almost $30
