IF YOU VALUE YOUR LIFE --STAY AS FAR AS POSSIBLE AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!
What you about to read is completely accurate and very scary. I became seriously ill after eating pancakes, eggs and bacon from Chelsea Square Market, 130 10th Avenue in Manhattan. When I say ill, that's an understatement. Here is what happened--I purchased the food in the early morning--like 4:00a-5:00a on Dec 31st, 2024. This was the first meal of the day after I woke up. About 6 hours later I was so sick that I could not function. I immediately returned home and for the next 50 hours I could not stand or leave the bathroom. I won't go into all of the symptoms, but I'm sure you get the picture. It was the sickest I have ever been in my life!!! When I was well enough-- I visited the deli to let them know what happened. I was waiting there to talk to the manager quietly about what had happened and another customer came in to return their egg and cheese on a bagel because it had hair in it!!! You can't make this stuff up. This is disgusting and unacceptable, and I am serious when I say, if you value your life stay as far as you can away from here. They don't wear gloves, they don't have hair nets, and they are making people sick. I was lucky that I was able to recover from this because I have a very strong immune system-- BUT--if someone with a compromised immune system got this same strain of SALMONELLA ( which came from their mishandling of the eggs) they could very well be dead. One last fact, which adds insult to injury-I asked the manager to have the owner call/email me so we could discuss this. I gave her my contact info. I was trying to see maybe if the owner got involved --they would make sure this would NEVER happen again to anyone else. The owner never called me back. Clearly, the owner could care less. The NYC Health Department is now involved. I will report back on here what they say and do. UNTIL THEN I WOULD NOT EAT A SINGLE MORSEL OF FOOD...

The bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich here is the star of the show. The bacon is perfectly crispy, the eggs are fluffy and cooked just right, and the cheese is deliciously melty, all served on a fresh roll that ties everything together. It’s the kind of sandwich that hits all the comfort food notes and leaves you wanting more.
While the coffee is average and might not win any awards, it’s certainly decent and does the trick if you need a caffeine fix. What truly sets Chelsea Square Market apart is the service. Even during the morning rush, the staff handles the crowd with impressive speed and efficiency, ensuring that you get your food quickly without sacrificing quality.
The market itself has a relaxed, welcoming vibe. It’s the perfect place to start your day, whether you’re grabbing a quick bite on your way to work or looking to sit down and enjoy your meal in a cozy setting. The decor is simple but charming, adding to the overall pleasant atmosphere.
In summary, Chelsea Square Market is a standout spot in Chelsea for a reason. With its unbeatable bacon, egg, and cheese sandwiches, quick and friendly service, and convenient location, it’s a top pick for breakfast lovers and anyone in need of a reliable, tasty meal. Highly recommended for locals and...
Read moreI walked in to get something to drink and saw that they were charging $1.99 for a single Twinkie. Not a two pack but a single Twinkie. That stopped me dead in my tracks and I believe I threw up in my mouth a little bit. I turned right around and walked out. You see it's these price gouging practices that drive me crazy. What sane person would give a business that is clearly ripping people off their money? I don't know but it's not going to be me. I say enough with these price gouging places that try to justify these practices as doing business in the city. It's immoral and it is wrong. I cannot speak for anyone but myself but I can take my business elsewhere. I encourage others to...
