If you ever find yourself on the corner of 3939 Broadway, New York, NY 10032 and 165th Street in NYC and are hungry please by all means walk past the Wendys located there. I would rather have you faint from lack of food than go into this Wendys. Please heed my warning and skip this location as I will do from now on. I have vowed never to return to this location and I promise to tell everyone that will listen not to go either.
I am a local resident and have lived in the area my entire life and had in the past frequently visited this location. Actually it was a favorite of my circle of friends and family.
Unfortunately about 2 years ago this all changed. I am not sure what happened but I will tell you something changed. There is nothing that I can say that is positive with regards to this location. And I like Wendys! I travel approximately 2 hours a day and often Wendys is my go to for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. I frequently visit locations up and down my travels like Elmsford, Nanuet NY and Fishkill, NY all of these locations I can count on the food being hot and fresh and even when busy the staff being at the very minimum friendly.
So imagine how disappointed I was going to this Wendys at home. The establishment, although recently renovated, is in constant disarray and a tire or auto body shop would smell better and most likely be cleaner than this location. As a matter of fact a tire would most likely have more flavor and taste better than the food that is prepared by the employees at this location. Corporate Wendys you should take the time to pay attention to this location and make the changes needed to bring this establishment up to code or shut it down. It is a lawsuit waiting to happen either from food poisoning or from disgraceful treatment by staff. As a matter of record Corporate Wendys make the time and we will go together.
And no I am not interested in free food or discounts - I want you Wendys - to do better. Until that happens I will not be visiting...

Think she loves the food advertisements😳Anyway we are in the area often due to appointments for her and I had time to run out for a quick bite. Because of the heat today I chose to not walk farther than necessary, so Wendys was my only option. First of all a homeless guy was my doorman which should have made me turn around. I get in look at the cash line & decided to go for " Faster" service the mobile line...Big mistake!!! I saw my name floating all over that board but never down. I get my order finally & the tea was unsweeten. So I thght get sugar add it no problem. Another bad decision. Then my fries had no salt, the mgr tried to pass me the packets but I demanded new hot fries. She was not happy. Finally I find myself back at the counter where I ask that a sweeten tea be given in place of what I tried to make better. Request accepted but I really don't think Ill be visiting...
Read moreYesterday I had experienced a level of disrespect and also dissatisfaction, as well as disappointment, the female host who seemed to be a manager, that was at the front taking orders, around the hours of 7-8pm was very much disrespectful as I was ordering my order, as a usual customer and as someone who works nearby and deals with patients on the daily, having to go to and order my food when having to encounter a worker or (manager/staff whom ever) who disrespects the customer, who is unprofessional and very much rude in addition seems as if she doesn’t want to be there was a real low to me.
Employees like her, who appear to lack basic customer service skills, should not be working in a fast-food establishment that values customer satisfaction. I hope that this matter is taken seriously and that appropriate action is taken to ensure that no other customers have to experience this kind of treatment...
