I recently visited the Wendy’s at 330 Bay St, Staten Island, NY 10301 on August 10, 2025 and spent approximately $50 on my order. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing.
While preparing my food, I observed employees repeatedly opening and closing my burgers to check orders, which is unsanitary and unprofessional. Due to this, I requested a refund. However, I was told I could not receive my refund because I needed to present the physical credit card used for the purchase. Not only was I dealing with this I was also dealing with the extremely unprofessional conduct from a blue-haired female employee While processing my order, she repeatedly charged my card for the full food total multiple times and then denied doing so — even though it was clearly happening. This is unacceptable and feels dishonest.
In addition, her appearance and hygiene were concerning. Her hair was left completely down behind her, hanging over the food prep area, which is unsanitary and against basic food safety guidelines. This lack of professionalism made the entire dining experience uncomfortable and unsafe. Instead, the store offered to remake my food.
When the food was remade, not only was it incomplete, but it still did not match my original order. After spending $50, I left dissatisfied, without my full order, and without a refund. The restaurant is dirty, chaotic, and disorganized, with unbearably long lines. The staff are lazy, unprofessional, and clearly untrained, showing little regard for customers or basic hygiene. It felt as though employees were not properly trained or motivated, which led to slow service and a chaotic environment. It’s shocking to see such a decline in service quality, and it’s hard to believe that management is paying any attention at all. Read moreI went late night around 9:40pm Friday 1/24 to get a biggie bag and a big bacon classic for my daughter. My burger from the biggie bag felt as though it was sitting there for hours. It was dry and shriveled. The nuggets also were smaller than usual and cold. Because I was starving after a long day I ate fast hoping to get home soon to hop into bed for my next day at work. Around 5am I couldn’t sleep because the food I ate kept churning in my stomach. I knew something was wrong. By 9am I was vomiting so hard I popped blood vessels in my face. At 3:45pm I felt hot and dizzy and felt myself passing out. I hit the floor before making it to my bed and banged up my head and chin and ended up in the emergency room. Diagnosis: gastroenteritis likely food borne transmission. The worst part of it was how rude the female at the window was when handing me my food. She literally shoved the bag my way and closed the window abruptly after handing me a bag of someone’s ass mites. I’m disgusted and disappointed. After I got sick and started to tell people where I ate, apparently it’s a “thing” to not eat at this Wendy’s if you “want to live “ which is crazy. I’m sick, beaten up and out of work. Read moreThe staffs don’t listen to the customers. I was using the T-Mobile offer( just one Dave Single) and the first thing I said was " Hi! I want to order from the T-Mobile offer.” And the person who took the order said “Ok". So I continued the order along side the small fries and small frosty which I was going to pay out of pocket. Mind you, I had to order at Drive through window. When I was about let the cashier scan the T-Mobile code, she said I have to do it through mobile app. So I asked her if it’s ok if I only pay for fries and frosty for now and, I will just redeem Dave Single through Wendy’s app. I repeated it twice to make sure she understands and she said YES. She said it herself that it’s ok. So I gave her my card. She didn’t even confirm the total amount of money. I should have confirmed it. And she made me waited under the freaking sun and download the app. When I got my bank notification, I saw the amount of money for that transaction and went to the cashier and asked her if she changed me for Dave Single too. She said yes. 😠 And I complained about how I asked her specifically if I could just pay for fries and frosty and she said ok. She just stood there, looking at me and didn’t...
