It is absolutely incomprehensible how this place stays in business and why it's always busy. I mean maybe because there's nothing else relatively close by? Their prices are ridiculous. Glen Oaks is not a ritzy area. I order breakfast in Manhattan on a daily basis, and it is cheaper than this place. I mean a bagel with two egg whites, onions, peppers, mushrooms, and a hot tomato sauce = $7.00 ?!?!? In Manhattan I get the same thing with bacon and cheese for the same $7.00 ! Despite my disatisfaction with this place, I've still come here on and off for a few years, when I just want to walk down instead of drive somewhere. Today will however be my last time there! Not only do prices keep going up, but so does the attitude. There was a polite young guy in front of me. He clearly placed and order. They brought his stuff out and missed a sandwich. He said he ordered two of whichever sandwich it was. The lady unwrapped and opened his food and showed it to him while rolling her eyes and making faces. He was, "no I ordered two of these." The lady seemed confused and finally when it clicked for her, she told one of the guys to make another. But damn. Their mistake and attitude for it. I commend him for being silent because I would have just walked out. The only reason I am giving two stars are because of the guys that work there. They are great. The cashier however, I've encountered two of them, two Asian women over the years. They are just NASTY if you ask them a question or if you correct them when they get something wrong. They will roll their eyes and give you attitude. Go elsewhere! Their bagels are just mediocre. And their attitude is through the roof!

Amazing bagels, there’s such a big selection of bagels and cream cheese to choose from. The staff is very welcoming and friendly, makes you feel like family! I love the strawberry cream cheese and jalepeno cream cheese with the everything bagel. There’s a lot of parking in the back, so it’s easy to get to. Whenever I visit my friends in queens, this is a must go stop on my list!

Under this new management, I can give this place zero stars. The lady working in the back (not the Asian) had rude attitude and made our big order incorrect and let it sit there without giving it to us after paying. Used to come here daily but I don’t think I will any more. Good luck.

have been patronizing this establishment for the past 10 years spending upwards of about 100 per week on weekend breakfast for the family and various office events; however, today will be my last day of giving them my business. I arrive this morning and stand on line to order my breakfast. The shorter of the 2 Asian women who work there was behind the counter. I stand waiting patiently to give her my order as 2 Caucasian gentlemen line up behind me. After standing there for several minutes she finally turns around flustered and asks me if I ordered. I replied ā€œnot yetā€. She then angrily points to the back of the line and tells me the line is back there. Now I have been coming here for years so I know where the line starts to order and now after standing here for several minutes you want me to take my place behind the 2 Caucasian gentlemen? Instead of causing a scene I simply walked out keeping both my money in my pocket and my temper in check. I will not be ushered to the back of the line. My money is as good as anyone else’s. Needless to say the days of me giving this establishment my money is over and I am going to be posting my experience in my development and the adjacent ones so that the community is aware of their treatment of minorities. Beware before you spend...

I have lived here 68 years and these new owners turned this great bagel store into a nightmare...... They don't get your order right because they don't understand English and they act like it is your problem, they put the sandwich in a wrap that sticks to your food...... Just take my advise DON'T GO HERE !!!!!!!! I have been going here since it opened and now, thank God, I have a friend who feels the same way and would drive me to another bagel store in the morning...... How could you F up a great business so bad..... GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.... If you don't want to drive go the the Tropical Smoothy Place on the other end of the mall, they are nice, great service and have breakfast wraps that are probably more healthy but I like a bagel, even though I do go pick up a wrap now and then because they are good and convenient for me.... I do not recommend What a Bagel any more after giving them 5 stars ever since the been there..... Believe me I tried to work with these new owners but they were resentful and no friendly and there was a fight every time I went in there and you know how hard it is to work with people who refuse to learn English ??? DO NOT...
