Yankee Twin Eatery Bar — Restaurant in New York

My wife and I have been customers here for over a year, most of the time we've had good experiences. However, I don't recommend ordering the takeout. We watched the delivery guy (who is one of the two guys who owns it and knows us) pull up to our building, never call, never got out and leave! After wondering what the hell happened, we called and the guy lied and said we had told him we didn't want the food! We asked to have the food delivered and for it to be at least warm. He came back 45min later and the food was ice cold. We will never be going back to this establishment. To be lazy, lie and serve us inedible food is a slap in the face. Total vibe before the Yankees game. We were in our St Louis Cardinals matching jerseys for our 5 yr anniversary. Everyone was so welcoming and helpful. The twins were really nice and their bouncer, server, host added so much entertainment and a genuine touch.

The food recommendation, and I quote: 'look im Greek, so I know everything taste great". With that we order two beef gyros and two Bloody Marys spicy. The gyro was the best open faced sandwich I have ever tasted. The Bloody Mary did not disappoint, great flavor and wonderfully spicy.

I had ordered a burger from here and it was so juicy! They make the burgers with a brioche bread that makes the flavor really amazing. The bread is so soft and the flavors really went well together. We even got a little back story from the owners who served us themselves. They have a some seating outside and they’re attentive. The guy saw that I was cold and turned the heater toward me since I did go during cold weather in the pandemic. Food is fresh and the drinks were delicious. I recommend the margaritas!
