30 Burgers — Restaurant in Newark

Oh boy where do I begin this place needs a whole redo the staff is all over the place it’s ridiculous don’t get me wrong the people who cook the burgers did an amazing job however the people who are taking orders HELL NO GET RID OF THEM ASAP I dont know who decided to hire a girl who is on tik tok while taking orders down and another girl who is refilling her cup every 10 minutes like what the hell????!?!? Not only that the girl with the red hair who I assume is Spanish because that’s all I can hear her speak , she gets the orders and instead of calling it out she leaves it there on the counter I ordered my burger online around 6pm and the point of ordering online is for it to be ready by the time I get there , I arrived at 6:47 and it was not even ready the girl with the red looked at me confused saying they didn’t receive an order just for the order to be sitting right there the whole time , what upsets me the most is there so quick to clock out when there shift is over but when it’s time to work there either sitting down , playing loud weird music that doesn’t fit the vibe of the restaurant and does not let people talk to each other due to the loud music and they just stand there like a zombie while there’s a bunch of people waiting for there order that is ready but is on the counter , I’m really disappointed 30 burgers you guys were my number 1 place to go in Elizabeth and as soon as I found out u guys where coming to Newark I was excited for the grand opening but this totally destroyed my opinion do better , stop hiring youngsters that don’t want to work for the business and hire people that will take the job serious other that all of this negativity the burger was perfect props to the young guys that were busting there ass to make a great burger I feel sorry that they have to work with those young girls...

So the young lady who took my order was very friendly, but not doing her job the right way. She should have been doing more to make sure the food coming out was being prepared the right way and not running to her phone to get on her social media. Yes, I said social media because you can clearly hear what she was doing. Sitting off to the side on some type of stool that was back there and in her phone.That was the first thing. The second thing was, I waited a long time for my meal and I know why. The woman in the back well there were two women in the back, but one of the women who was preparing The fish that I thought I ordered was masking the smell of the fish because it was spoiled. So I ordered tilapia salad and instead they gave me salmon salad. And I ordered a burger with bison meat. I got to my car and I smell a very fishy smell. Now I am a chef by trade and I know bad Fish when I smell it because I’m around it a lot and the fish was very bad once I got home I opened the container and for sure it was spoiled so two strikes against one meal. It was the wrong fish and it was spoiled so I’m out of my money. Secondly I wasn’t going all the way back down there because it’s too far. I saw a review on TikTok, so I said let me go down there for lunch before I go to work and now I’m home and I can’t go back down there because I have to go to work and I’m out of money I could’ve saved. Upon entering the place we well lit, very clean and I was welcomed by staff. Asked for bathroom first and was politely directed, the restroom was sanitized and smelled amazing. My server Amad was very knowledgeable of menu and patient with me indecisive of my choice being it was my first time there. He explained they’ve been open for a week and the only thing that wasn’t up was the fountain machine. Everything in the menu was available an I came later in the evening. Good was great I hot the glad dry of burger with blue cheese crumbles I altered it and it was done with no hassle. My friend prefer the Ruben burger, he was satisfied as well. The other waitresses were very pleasant as well. I am a stickler for great customer service I value this dearly and was they checked off all the qualities.
